I also suggest to ditch the two day rounds, bar the final.

Two day rounds make me procrastinate on my vote, which leads me to forgetting to vote entirely.

For me, I like having the winner announcement to look forward to every day, and I think it keeps momentum better. It's not so much that I forget, as that it's easier for me to lose interest. I've definitely felt disappointed when I misread the counter, and was refreshing to see results, to only then realize there's a whole other day, and that tends to dampen my overall interest. Also, I just get kind of bored reading through votes for the same set of shows two days in a row, and sometimes I just don't bother.

Oh, yeah. There's definitely the losing interest part.

For the first 2 day round I almost called time a day early

We are going to spice things up, from now on every round is 1 to 5 hours long, you will have to roll the dice on when to vote.

What.

No, seriously, what.

I know I've made comments about the folks running this contest being sadists, but that doesn't mean you have to go out of your way to prove me right!

And then for the finals the show with the least votes wins, right?

The Fallen Rise Again Results

The results are in...

Match 1

1. Noragami Aragoto (17)
2. Death Parade (7)

Match 2

1. Snow White with the Red Hair (16)
2. School-Live (12)

Well, would you look at that? For the first time ever, a Revenge of the Fallen show has advanced past this stage! Both of them even! You guys must want to see the underdog win or something. That being said, I am sad to see Death Parade and School-Live go. I enjoyed both shows tremendously but the tourney isn't going to get any easier. Stay tuned for the next round!

Put the knife down...

Elite 8

☠ In the Elite 8, shows will be pitted against each other 1 vs. 1 matches.
☠ Vote for the show you want to see advance. You must provide a valid reason for your choice. Reasons such as "this show is awesome", "the other show sucks", "WOOOOOOOOOOO", "just because", "someone told me to", etc., are not acceptable. All votes are subject to admin approval and will be checked to see if they meet our requirements.
☠ Example vote:

One Punch Man - Probably the HYPEST show last year. Great action, great animation, great everything.
Snow White with the Red Hair - A lovely romance with a strong female lead. Shirayuki-a-besto.

JJBA: Stardust Crusaders -Battle in Egypt- - once the show finally got to the point, it was fantastic. The last ten or so episodes were excellent action. I also liked the part with Darby the gambler. The best part of OPM for me was Saitama's dream in the first episode.

JJBA: Stardust Crusaders -Battle in Egypt- -- An excellent and faithful adaptation of one of the greatest arcs (and final battles) in manga history. Part 3 is why I got so into JoJo's, why I've read every chapter to date, and why it's now my favorite manga series of all time.

Haikyuu!! -- My 2nd favorite sports anime (Ippo is 1st). It's got a lot of heart and fun characters, and almost every club member (from the MC to the side characters and the captain to the managers) is integral to the team at some point, which is hard to pull off with such a huge cast.

One Punch Man - The hype is real with this show. Even the OP was hype. I was expecting an epic action anime judging from the cover of the first manga volume, but I got much more. The action lived up to my expectations and humor (which I didn't expect) was done super well. I mean, Saitama jumped back to Earth from the moon. From the moon

Haikyuu!! - I'll just plagiarize my old answer: The way Haikyuu portrays volleyball matches is brilliant. There are few things in life more intense than a 3rd set of a volleyball ball game, especially if the match reaches a deuce due to the 'win by two' rule. Both teams were playing their heart out and I could feel their emotions and the tension. When I saw the losing team's faces, I knew exactly what they were thinking: What could I have done differently?, If only I had/hadn't done that. The feel of Haikyuu's volleyball games are super realistic and I can relate to it a lot (except for the fact that Kageyama puts way too much spin on the ball, i cri evrytiem cuz that's not allowed). It also does a great job of showing off players' skillz. Nishinoya? Hype. Bokuto's cut shot? Hype. Tsukishima's block? Hype. Yamaguchi's float serve? Hype. Oikawa's jump serve? Hype af. Yachi? Kawaii

On multiple occasions, my friend would jump up to block a spike, but he would jump high enough that he'd just get spiked in the face

Elite 8 Stage 1

One Punch Man

Saitama never gets his true hero ranking but Heros / Silver Fang know what he is capable of. Even though the Viliians are bad you wonder about the Heroes trying to outdo each other ( not all ) but makes for interesting plot!

Snow White with the Red Hair

Shirayuki forced to flee her own country finds a home in Clarines with Prince Zen who help each other through their strengths and weak points! Shirayuki us a strong female who is always thinking of the good and wants to earn her standing as much as possible by herself !

One Punch Man - As someone who lives in a place where there tends to be a lot of mosquitoes during the summer, episode two of this series brought me so much happiness. YES! KILL ALL THE MOSQUITOES! This show has amazing action, humor, and is surprisingly relatable--see example above.

Snow White with the Red Hair - One of the reasons that I love this series is because Shirayuki is not your typical female protagonist. She's a strong, kindhearted, quick-witted, hardworking girl who has a dream to become a pharmacist and doesn't let anything get in her way of achieving her dream and later her job. She wants people to look at her for who she really is and not just her red hair--which is the reason why she left her home country in the first place. While other main female leads main goal would be to try and find a way to get into the castle so that they could be closer to the prince, Shirayuki was just looking for a job when the position to be a royal court pharmacist opened up--which of course she jumped at the chance to try-out for because being a pharmacist is all she ever wanted to be. Shirayuki wants to be in the castle because that's where her job is, not because that's where Zen--the second prince of Clarines--is.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Because this half of Stardust Crusaders really started to show us just how creative battles with Stands could be, and on top of that had many memorable battles against a great roster of villains, with the main event against the Big D himself being a moment worth waiting four cours for.

Haikyuu!! - Because Haikyuu!!, to me, is the standard bearer for the sports genre as a whole. It is the show I weigh all other entries in the genre against, because it is a masterful example of all the things people love sports anime for. The comedy, the action, the emotions, and of course the characters.

I'm thorned. On the one hand, OPM would be too obvious of a victor in this tourney but on the other, JoJo gets another shot next year and with my favorite part to boot.
