Group A

6. Owarimonogatari - As everybody here probably knows by now, I am a HUGE Monogatari fan. Monogatari has repeatedly gave me something that I will never find in anime. It continues to make every character refreshing and dynamic. Then, there is the word play. Especially, the word play coming from Ougi Oshino. The aesthetics return with the epic symbolism by mixing and matching colors, objects, people, street lights, and desks...... a lot of desks. Won't say much more. If you made it this far into the series, well. You already know if you like it or don't lol.

5. Overlord - I will admit. First half of the first episode, I was a little hesitant. It really felt like I have seen these types of shows multiple times. However, as it turns out. I was wrong. This show magically turned majestic. The environment, the characters, and creativity are off the charts awesome. The main character: Ainz Ooal Gowl is the perfect definition of must see T.V. The show heavily focuses on his character. I really enjoyed how he boldly stepped forward to start learning the changes that occurred in the environment, the mysteries that need to be uncovered, and anything associated with the world when he realized he was stuck. Though one can argue, he is a little too cautious throughout the series. Will there be a Season 2? Really do hope so, but MadHouse rarely/if any do sequels from what I hear, which is a damn shame.

4. Death Parade - I like the show. It even has probably my favorite episode of the year, but.. yea. I did think some episodes fell flat, but overall the experience was a really good one.

3. The Testament of Sister New Devil - Ecchi hype!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woooooooooooooooooooooo! I actually finished this compared to the other two below it, so. 3 points it is.

2. Ushio and Tora - Heard great things, but sadly haven't been able to watch
1. The Heroic Legend of Arslan - tried a episode and well never got back to it.

Group B

6. Snow White with the Red Hair - This was an excellent watch for the Shoujo genre. I had a lot of hype going into it and well... it lived up to its reputation. The two main characters: Shirayuki and Zen really shine throughout the series. I would have to say Shirayuki was a phenomenal character to watch throughout the entire season and possibly one of the strongest characters of the year. However, that is not to say all the characters were overshadowed by her. In fact, all of the characters mesh really well with one another. It is somewhat of a support system for each other. A really big support system. I will admit. There are some cheesy parts in it, but what is a Shoujo without some of it? One main thing I want to mention is the color usage and the soundtrack. Both of these compliment each other extremely well. The colors are extremely lively (especially some of these color pages on manga). The red hair from Shirayuki. The extremely light green color on the trees. Lots of Sunlight shots, which complements the scene and colors. Just about everything, the person behind the color scheming deserves a huge standing ovation. The instrumentals mixed with the visuals create the perfect mood... a wonderful mood.

5. Sound! Euphonium - Loved this show. Quite a bit. Would give it a six, but not against Snow White. As always, the aesthetics from KyoAni were superb. The story telling and everything about it was good. Can't wait for Season 2.

4. Plastic Memories - Plastic Memories was something that I liked quite a bit. It did fail in multiple ways, but I really appreciated the animation of the series and the overall theme. Story wise, yea. It did fall apart, but overall. I still found it average.

3. Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans - Saw a handful of episodes, but never continued
2. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders - Only saw a handful of episodes. Thus, it has to be here.
1. Charlotte - oh man this show. Nosedive worthy of a gold medal in the olympics with that strong start.

Group Stage Round 1

Group A
1) The Testament of Sister New Devil - 6 (I don't mind eechi,or harem anime, the Succubus acts like you'd think a Succubus - who took a few levels in Fighter or Monk - would, and Lars earned my respect).
2) Overlord - 5 (Even villains can have those they care about, every experienced "good" adventurer is still a mass murderer, and what do you mean you don't really want to rule the world?!?).
3) Ushio & Tora - 4 (Old School doesn't mean it isn't worth your time. Some times a show where not all the major protagonists survive, and the "hero" only ends up with one individual, can be worth watching, even for someone like me.)
4) Owarimonogatari - 3 (Damn, if this show had been in Group B, I could have given it more points.)
5) Death Parade - 2
6) The Heroic Legend of Arslan - 1

Group B
1) Plastic Memories - 6 (I remember Blade Runner. "Like tears... in the rain.")
2) Mobile Suit Gundam : Iron-Blooded Orphans - 5 (Talking is not a free action. And, unless resurrection and/or reincarnation are Things in your part of the universe, a dead enemy is a good enemy.)
3) Jojo's Bizare Adventure : Stardust Crusaders - 4 (Some series and franchises are so over the top that you have to tip your hat to them.)
4) Charlotte - 3
5) Snow White with the Red Hair - 2
6) Sound! Euphonium - 1

I already put in my vote for this round, but I was wondering. For you folks tallying the votes is it easier if we keep the titles in the order you have them listed, and just put the ranking number next to them, or is it easier if we rearrange the list in order (along with the ranking)? Your example suggested the latter, and it does make it easier for those of use reading other people's votes to get a sense of what's getting ranked where, but it seems that consistency in show order might be easier for you.

Doesn't bother me either way but consistency in show order would save us a few seconds.

Group A:

6) Owarimonogatari - Needs more Ougi. Shinobu was amazing this season.
5) Overlord - Anti-hero Skeletor and Albedo. What more do you need? All hail Ainz!
4) The Heroic Legend of Arslan - Still waiting for the boy to become king. Daryun is OP and Narsus is God. All hail Arslan!
3) Death Parade - Boom boom boom dancing through the skies. That OP makes me want to party. Ice skating was beautiful.
2) Ushio and Tora - Never seen it but I've heard good things.
1) The Testament of Sister New Devil - Never seen it and I haven't heard good things...

Group B:

6) Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders - Battle in Egypt - I can show you ZA WARUDO!
5) Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans - Best Gundam t.v. series in nearly a decade. Flags have been raised. Season 2 hype!
4) Plastic Memories - Does Isla dream of electric sheep? I don't know but she's cute when she's in love and that's good enough for me.
3) Charlotte - This guy showed us the world in the same amount of time it took Aladdin. In other words, that ending was rushed.
2) Sound! Euphonium - Never seen it but I am interested.
1) Snow White with the Red Hair - Never seen it and I don't care enough to bother.

It wasn't your time to be king, Arslan.
