Why are you guys calling it Rokka of the Six Braves when it's Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers?

I don't know. I was going to say direct Japanese translation, then I realized that "Rokka" is the "six braves" part.

The English names suck, so I personally go with Rokka no Yuusha

BioNews: Crowds the most Underrated Show of 2015

[6] Maria the Virgin Witch - She just wants them to stop fighting. And she'll throw a dragon in their way to do it. Plus I mean, she legit fights the church, God, and angels....

[5] Asassination Classroom
- Cause Nagisa is the most ninja trap we've seen in awhile.
[4] Monster Musume - Cause why not make people think about how sex would even work.
[3] F/SN Unlimited Blade Works - BRAAAAAVE SHIIIIIIINE
[2] One Punch Man - Cause the other shows need a handicap.
[1] The Perfect Insider - Man, this convoluted trash beat out Concrete.

[6] Gatchaman Crowds Insight - Legitinately political in an entertaining way. Hajime is the hero we don't deserve.

[5] Rokka no Yuusha - Cause it was always just gonna be a locked room mystery! Brilliant fights but still a mystery.
[4] Chivalry of a Failed Knight - Great fight sequences, strong pairing, Ikki found the bitch-be-gone spray in Ep 1.
[3] DanMachi - FAIYA BORUTO!
[2] Aldnoah.Zero2 - Can I just give this to Hiroyuki Sawano?
[1] Kamisama Kiss S2 - Didn't watch. Told I would like it, though.

Why do we use English names? It makes searching my MAL so much harder, and I remember shows by their Japanese names ;_;

Group E
6 - Maria the Virgin Witch
I was pleasantly surprised by how this show went from a fantasy comedy with some sexual tension to a story about learning to be open-minded that incorporated the titular 'virgin witch' aspect in a much subtler (and, to me, more interesting) way. I wouldn't mind seeing more stories involving open-mindedness.

5 - Assassination Classroom
I didn't especially care for the first half despite liking the ideas presented in that time, but the second half worked much better for me by virtue of - in my eyes, at least - doing more with what it had, i.e., preparing a group of students for life beyond academics in a way that is absurd yet highly effective.

4 - One Punch Man
To be perfectly honest, this show was very hit-and-miss for me with some parts appealing to me in the form of parody and/or social commentary(yes, I know the whole thing is technically a parody/social commentary, but too technically for my liking) and other parts not at all appealing to me due to being more in the way of typical shounen than I prefer to see, especially in a show that has demonstrated its aptitude at being anything but a typical shounen.

3 - The Perfect Insider
I like a lot of mystery anime, and while this one caught my interest at first and at a few points here and there later on, it overall took a direction that I didn't care for, opting more for the philosophical than the psychological; I know that's not the best reason not to like something, but what's done is done, and I can't change my past experiences.

2 - F/SN Unlimited Blade Works
Some good moments, I guess? I don't have much good or bad to say about this anime.

1 - Monster Musume
Didn't watch; not my genre.

Group F
6 - Gatchaman Crowds Insight
Tough call for me personally between this and the next one, but I think Gatchaman needs more help. I mean, how often do you see a story that offers such a frighteningly realistic look at how society thinks and how little society would opt to act for itself if allowed to "leave it to [someone else]"? Maybe they're more common than I think, but I don't believe I've seen any others in my time watching anime, which isn't saying all that much, but still . . . .

5 - Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers
What can I say? I like mysteries, I like character-driven stories, and I like when action directly derives from characters instead of feeling like it was added after the fact, and I personally got all of this out of Rokka. I know it's far from perfect, and there are plenty of criticisms that make perfect sense, but I guess the points against the show didn't outweigh the things I liked about it; simple as that.

4 - Is it Wrong to Try and Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? (DanMachi)
I liked the 'real-life dungeon' aspect along with a lot of the character interactions and world building . . . up to a certain point. The last stretch felt more like a fairly typical harem anime to me than I would have liked, especially after the early episodes, which was kind of a let-down and killed a lot of my enthusiasm for the show. I might have appreciated more focus on the gods/goddesses, as well.

3 - Chivalry of a Failed Knight
Didn't watch this since I'm not big on the genre, but what I've heard about it has led me to respect it more than I used to; though it doesn't sound like the kind of story I personally would enjoy, I can at least give it a nod here.

2 - Kamisama Kiss S2
Didn't watch because I didn't particularly care for the first season.

1 - Aldnoah.Zero S2
Ranks this low despite my having seen it because I literally don't remember anything that happened in it.

Group E:
6. One Punch Man (100 push ups 100 sit ups 100 squats and 10km running)
5. Assassination Classroom (Never seen an episode of the show but I loved the manga)
4. F/SN Unlimited Blade Works (If i forget about how stupid emiya is and how badass/hot rin is it's all good)
3. Monster Musume ( ‾ʖ̫‾) Great plot *nods head*
2. Maria the Virgin Witch (Haven't seen it but I heard it's like the most historically accurate anime)
1. The Perfect Insider (Early this went from inteligent to very far fetched and silly to me)

Group F:
6. Gatchaman Crowds Insight (S rank tier OP/ED/OST beautiful animation, awesome characters and sociology think tank undertone, not as good as season one but i still love it, the new girl this season was pretty cringeworthy but realistic if you watch the news and its part of the setting/plot)
5. Is it Wrong to Try and Pick up Girls in a Dungeon? (DanMachi) (Hestia)
4. Chivalry of a Failed Knight (Stella)
3. Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers (Adlet, in reality, definitely the weakest of the Braves and the solution to the mystery we were trying to solve was such BS)
2. Aldnoah.Zero S2 (never seen)
1. Kamisama Kiss S2 (never seen)

Group E

One Punch Man - 4 (Because I love this show, but also realize it probably needs the least amount of help from me)
The Perfect Insider - 2 (Because it was probably the best mystery show from 2015, but mystery shows overall sucked last year)
Assassination Classroom - 5 (Because I loved how the first season balanced teaching the kids how to be assassins and students, plus it was just genuinely fun to me)
Monster Musume - 6 (Because it is my favorite harem series of all time, and also because monster girls, namely Rachnera )
F/SN Unlimited Blade Works - 1 (Because it was the show I liked the least from this group)
Maria the Virgin Witch - 3 (Because I loved the historically accurate details when it comes to the gear and fighting tactics used by the soldiers, and the story wasn't too bad)

Group F

Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers - 3 (Because it had an interesting premise that it killed dead with the final few minutes of the finale)
Gatchaman Crowds Insight - 6 (Because it was a fantastic piece of biting social commentary that somehow got better with age, as thanks to the political scenes in both the US and UK right now, Insight proves to sadly be extremely accurate about humanity)
Is it Wrong to Try and Pick up Girls in a Dungeon? (DanMachi) - 4 (Because it was just pure fun to me and the action scenes were badass)
Chivalry of a Failed Knight - 5 (Because it was a magical high school show that was actually good for once)
Aldnoah.Zero S2 - 2 (Because it was bad, dumb fun and it felt like the show knew it, as they kept ramping up the fun stupidity every episode)
Kamisama Kiss S2 - 1 (Because I didn't see it)

One Punch Man - 6 - Because I'm totally going to fight Saitama. Right.

Monster Musume - 5 - Because I found the Monsters to be entertaining, even if the male main character could literally have been anyone else and he would've still be worthless.

Assassination Classroom - 4 - Because it has two three asses in it.

Maria the Virgin Witch - 3 - Because Yoko Hikasa is in it. I think.

The Perfect Insider - 2 - Because inside information tells me the show is perfect.

F/SN Unlimited Blade Works - 1 - Because there was no sex scene. It would've totally been the Stone Cold Lock for Anime of the Centch. Of the Year. if it only had a sex scene.*

* - This is a false statement.

Group F

Is it Wrong to Try and Pick up Girls in a Dungeon? (DanMachi) - 6 -Because Aizu is Baezu. Or something.

Gatchaman Crowds Insight - 5 - Because Gotcha!

Kamisama Kiss S2 - 4 - Because God went around and kissed people.+

Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers - 3 - Because Math: ((6+1-3/4*0+5^5*2)/11+6-6/3)/3 #

Aldnoah.Zero S2 - Because it was Season 2.

Chivalry of a Failed Knight - 1 - Because there's only one thing Stella about this show - the fanbase's love of it.

+ - They're not all winners, all right?

# - I watch television for a living, so, the maths may be inaccurate.

EDIT:

Ahhh, crap, forgot to quote BB.

Oh, well, just as well.

Yes, accidentally I was just trying to grab the closest BallotBot post, which was yours (just above mine).

As PhantomGundam mentioned, you need to actually quote a Ballot_Bot post for the notification to go to Ballot_Bot, which is the purpose of quoting her.

What you can do is click on the word "wrote" in a thread where someone else quoted her--that takes you to the Ballot_Bot post and you can then quote that--Ballot_Bot's post.

1 - One Punch Man - Never seen.
4 - Subete ga F ni Naru - This entire series was really disappointing. The mystery never drew me in, the characters were all a bit too weird for my taste, and I'm not even kidding when I say, I think the most enjoyable parts of the show each week were OP and the ED. My taste for Mystery may have been tainted by how much I loved Rokka, so airing just one season later didn't really give it a chance. Also the pedo undertones throughout the entire series were just ugh. Can there serious be one modern mystery anime that doesn't involve perverse crimes. (Wish I could give it a 1...)
6 - Ansatsu no Kyoushitsu - I have probably written upwards of 10k words on this series. In summary, it was a great series with a bitter end, that surpassed it's genre on a regular basis.
3 - MonMusu - Never seen. (Wish I could give it a 1...)
2 - Fate/stay Night: UBW - In one word: trainwreck. I can say with the utmost confidence that Fate/Zero is the better Fate. The cast was dreadful, what few good characters there were, were often underused. ufotable's talent's were certainly wasted on this snoozefest to the very end. (Wish I could give it a 1...)
5 - Junketsu no Maria - Find my thoughts on the series here!

Group F - A group where I've actually seen everything...no way!

6 - Rokka no Yuusha - If you were paying any attention to the pre-season hype you literally had to be blind to miss this series. Which is a shame because I believe this series ultimately fell victim to it's own marketing. A series which at it's foundation a mystery aspiring to monogatari levels of dialogue and even more action. Many were sold a stereotypical "kill the demon king" shounen. From the start this series was quirky, the main characters all have animal, flower or cross motifs, the setting is mesoamerican, which is extremely unusual for anime, and the series is paced more like a novel than an anime series. Unfortunately, many dropped the series soon after because of misaligned expectations. But those who stayed got treated to a splendid soundtrack that featured a lot of fairly uncommon instruments. The character designs were unique, and while some of them were revealing I can't really recall any of them getting overtly fanservice-y shots. The Mesoamerican aesthetic was interesting and unique. My only gripe with how the series looked were the fiends. Many people had problem with them being animated in CG, that I was honestly okay with, my bigger problem was I think the studio warped them a little too much in trying to stand out, in the original novel they're just like animals, whereas in the anime they could hardly be recognized as such. If there was anything to complain about in the animation depart it was the downright disgusting lack of in-between animation, that lead to distorted faces galore. It was incredibly hard trying to get any manner of screenshot of any of the action sequences, because the characters would get so disfigured mid-movement. I know this is only Passione's second project, but still, I don't recall Rail Wars looking so bad. It's hard to talk about the character and the story individually in this series because they are so interwoven. I absolutely adore both with one slight condition. I wish they had done more to try to make the long sections of dialogue more visually interesting, ala Monogatari Series. They experimented with some cool camera things in the temple but I think there could've been more. In the same vein as Monogatari I wish there had been some attempt to convey the Seventh's thoughts that permeate the light novel. That missing narration led many anime viewer astray into thinking, "oh maybe the seventh isn't bad and just wants to help." When you read the seventh's thoughts in the light novel you instantly know where his intention's lie. If you have ever played or enjoyed the 999 series of game I think you would love this show.
5 - Gatchaman Crowds Insight - This season should have been much higher on this list, if not for the drudgery and repetitive nature of the middle of the series. The soundtrack in this series is always intriguing, the new characters looked cool, and the animation was just as smooth as the first season. My big gripe with the season were the two new characters, Tsubasa and Gel-chan. Looks were certainly deceiving with these two. Their character arcs were so frustrating to watch. I caught on to the end game of the season in like episode 4ish, but the series continued on a sloooooooow lumbering pace to the depths of hell just to make a point. Too many episode left me feeling, "okay I get it can you please move on to the part where you show how bad this all is." This was exacerbated by the swath of 4-5 episode where it felt like the Gatchaman weren't even a part of their own series. I like what they tried to do, but I don't think they need to take so long to do it.
2 - DanMachi - Hestia is confirmed worst girl. The show had some really high highs and some pretty low lows. The harem elements were often shoved in awkwardly and there was definitely not enough Aiz for my sensibilities. The finale was particularly strong in the action department despite most of it coming wholly out of nowhere, I know there were plot holes galore and loads of unexplained things that happened, but I didn't even care because I was so enthralled by the action. The pacing was a bit uneven and the harem didn't always properly blend harem with action.
1 - Rakudai no Knight - Dropped after episode 3.
3 - Aldnoah.Zero - Slaine is the biggest waste of space ever and he was lucky to have gotten the magneto treatment. Inaho should've totally pulled the trigger, but he didn't cause he's a good guy and wanted to uphold his promise. Honestly I think most people's gripes about the show come from people taking it too damn serious. it's like walking out of a michael bay transformers film and hearing people complain about the social hierarchies of the Decepticons and whether or not the girl is a going to end up with guy a or b, despite the girl not showing much interest in either....srsly people. Approaching it as a summer blockbuster that delivers mindless fun was how I approached it and I thought it was better for it.
4 - Kamisama Hajimemashita - The amount of growth Nanami underwent in this season was very very impressive, not only did she take large steps into her role as a god, but we also got to explore a great deal of her and Tomoe's past. Seeing as it is a largely character driven plot, i think the story this time around was much better than the first season, less focused on adding to Nanami's (harem??) and more focused on building out her relationship with Tomoe. A very good second season, I definitely liked it more than the first season. And hopefully will be enjoying a third season soon.

Maria the Virgin Witch (6) - Because it is very overlooked. is very cute. A lot of fun and both the sub and dub are good..

Monster Musume(5) - Because it is hilarious. tons of ecchi fun, but the MC is also just a good guy and never takes advantage of his situation. Plus the girls are all likeable and MON. 'nuff said

F/SN UBW (4) - Because great animation and Rin... never enough Rin

Ass Class (3) - Because student assasins, aliens and comedy hahas... oh yeah! And Traps too!

Perfect insider (2) - Because it's still better than OPM

OPM (1) - Can I give it a zero?

Group F

Chivarly(6) - One of the best overall anime of 2015. It's the anti-battle school harem. Animation is awesome. And fights are great!

Danmachi (5) - One of my personal favs of all time already and it's just getting started. i really want to see where they take the whole demi-god angle.

Aldnoah.Zero(4) - Because sci-fi mecha. And I love mecha

Kamisama Kiss (1) - (3) Much better show than this position, I just have things that I like better.

Gatchaman Crowds Insight (2) - Solid show, just not my thing

Rokka of the Six Braves (1) - I really wanted to put this higher because of Fremmy/Flamie. But, one character does not a show make.
