Add more channels...hmmmm? I am not sure about that? I prefered both the English Subtittles and closed-captions only. I am hearing impaired.

If I could have pick 8 of 12 channels..come with subtittles only? That could be nice?

On the one hand, this is interesting, because you get multiple channels for about the same price as Premium+ on Crunchyroll and the perks of the plus package aren't that useful to me. On the other hand, a lot of those channels are just repackaged YouTube channels. I doubt they'll completely pull out of YouTube, so the question becomes what exclusive content will be on VRV, or how much delay will there be on YouTube. I suppose they could also move their free content to YouTube Red.

The deciding factor for me at this time is I view all my content on PC. So I'm waiting for the PC version to come out.

I'm subscribed. It's definitely worth it! I like having all of this stuff in one place and subscribing to them all a once is cool. Watching on my phone now, but as soon as browser hits, my laptop will become my ultimate media center.

So no Switch app then and no work being made on the other console apps. As soon as you decide to stop supporting the PS4 app is when I stop subscribing, got too used to watching anime on my big tv screen instead of my computer monitor to ever switch back to the website. I refuse to subscribe to VRV. Thanks for the years of anime you brought me and godspeed.

Okay, I actually did not know that was a prior issue, but regardless, if they would like to improve the members experience. it would still be something to try and figure out. I still would like to know what is being said in the opening/ending themes. I'm not trying to be disrespectful about how complex this situation might be, however they can continue to try and make the extra effort in getting subtitles for us. Hypothetically speaking, if I were to buy one or two anime on DVD, I would expect to see subtitles in the opening/ending credits. I appreciate your input though.

Why isn't there a list of shows in VRV? Why do I have to search for everything. I'm not always looking for things I already know exists.

The Nintendo Switch will not support any streaming apps at launch. At least that is the latest status widely reported some time last week.

My yearly CR subscription is cheaper so I'm not interested at all. $120/year? No thanks.

Does CR even offer their yearly sub anymore or is it just for old subscribers like me? When I do "compare plans" it only shows me the monthly plan. It offers the choice of switching to monthly but it is even more expensive than VRV. Will they ever cancel my yearly plan, I wonder? I sure hope not.

Only shows I watch on Funi anymore are ancient so they're free (with 'ads' that don't work -- no, I don't use adblock, the ads just never come up). Funi cancelled my sub when they went dub-only.

Only Rooster Teeth show I watch is RWBY and the one week delay here is fine with me.

Didn't sound great when I first heard about it the last time and still doesn't. Honestly between the recent, almost completely broken Android app, the manga catalog that remains broken, and the lack of html5, I don't believe I'll be renewing my sub. Haven't renewed my Funi sub and haven't missed it and seems CR is getting there as well.

On top of all that, the recent Otter media takeover and huge push to VRV looks like none of the small problems will be addressed and it's full steam ahead to bump those sub prices and numbers. Can't blame them though, making money is the name of the game, just doesn't look like they'll be making it from me anymore. Been a good several years but unless things change for exisiting members and problems on the 1 service I still sub to, this will be all for me.

shinryouFor example: You will be saving quite some bucks using VRV to watch Crunchyroll and Funimation content compared to subscribing to both separately.
I feel like that statement is slightly misleading. You will only be saving quite some bucks if you sign up to both services on monthly bases. The annual plan for Crunchy is 59.95 and Funimation 59.99. I wouldn't call six cents much of a savings, unless there is a cheaper annual option for the VRV combo that I am not seeing?

As someone who is only interested in anime I would much prefer to see some sort of combo package between just Crunchyroll and Funimation that truly brings down the cost of subscribing to both at the same time when compared to the annual plans.

Most people pay on a month-to-month basis. So the more common situation would be $6.95 (CR) + $5.99 (Funi), for a total of $12.94. That makes VRV a much better deal at $2.95 less per month (almost 23% less).

Yeah, all the 3 and 12 month options are still there. You have to actually click through to the next page to see them on the plan comparison.
