This is a vote!

Group 5

4 - Mob Psycho 100 (This was my third favorite anime last year)
3 - Flying Witch (My favorite slice of life show last year, just so chill)
2 - She and Her Cat (Very emotional little short, my fifth favorite short of the year)
1 - Ninja Girl & Samurai Master (Very cute and funny edutainment short. I love it to death, but it also has a second chance next year thanks to having a second season)

Group 6

4 - Keijo!!!!!!!! (Legit one of the most surprising shows I've ever seen. I saw the PV and thought it would just be stupid, but(t) fun fanservice, instead got one of the funniest parodies of both sports and action battle anime series in a long damn time, and I was gasping for air every episode from laughing)
3 - My Hero Academia (Very, very solid first season, but the glacial pacing and only really developing 3 characters(Deku, All Might, and Bakugo) bring it down a notch)
2 - BBK/BRNK (I know, I know, this show was one of the few times I actually campaigned for a show in these tournaments, but honestly I just wanted it to make the field of 64, anything more than that was just icing, if it was in a group with more shows I didn't watch, it would have placed higher for me)
1 - The Heroic Legend of Arslan (I really enjoyed this, but let's be honest, it wasn't a full season. It got screwed over by that damn Seven Deadly Sins filler)

Group 7

4 - Thunderbolt Fantasy (The show that redefined how many people classified anime(and yes, there are in fact a good chunk of people who saw this that do consider it anime). Regardless of where you stand on the subject of if it is anime or not one thing that can't be denied is that this is one of the most stylish and genuinely entertaining shows from the last year, made even more impressive by the fact that it was done with puppets)
3 - Tanaka-kun is Always Listless (Because Tanaka-kun always needs help with something, cause he's so lazy)
2 - Yuri on Ice (Ok, so, for once a show being in my Top 5 from last year does not get 4 points from me, because for two things, 10 I don't think YoI needs me help, and 2) I am still salty that YoI swept the Anime Awards, including taking best animation over god damn Mob Psycho 100)
1 - Koyomimonogatari (Didn't see, and also a pitiful attempt to counter the usually strong devotion the Monogatari series has in these kind of things. Eliminating Monogatari shows from tournaments is like trying to kill a cockroach)

Group 8

4 - Re:ZERO (Hey, look at that, my fourth favorite show of 2016 gets 4 points)
3 - Girlish Number (Really enjoyed this, mainly because of how petty everyone was, and the facial expressions were glorious)
2 - Love Live Sunshine (Only saw one episode of this so far, but it is Love Live, which I love)
1 - GATE S2 (Just has the rotten luck of being in this particular group)

V-O-T-E:

Nice try Tsukihi. Try taking pointers from Senjougahara.

Group 5:

Abstain. I've only seen 1 show in this group and it doesn't need my help.

Group 6:

4) My Hero Academia - Go beyond. Plus Ultra!
3) The Heroic Legend of Arslan -Dust Storm Dance- - The season that had the guys show off their muscles and Silver Mask found love in a hopeless place. The change in scenery was nice and the state of the war took an interesting turn. It's too bad it's only 8 episodes. This season needed to be longer.
2) BBK/BRNK - Nice use of CGI.
1) Keijo - Turning fanservice into a sport. Clever. Sad to hear the manga ended.

Group 7:

4) Koyomimonogatari - As stated in my post a couple pages ago, this season is very different but still worth it for anyone who cares about the series.
3) Yuri on Victor - The show gets a lot of hate and the fanbase is toxic, but I enjoyed the show. The animation looked good in the first few episodes and the characters were fun to watch. They were born to make history.
2) Thunderbolt Fantasy - Haven't seen but I've heard it's good... even though it's not an anime.
1) Tanaka-kun is Always Listless - Haven't seen it and don't care.

Group 8:

4) Re:Zero - An amazing tale of a man showing his unyielding devotion to a beautiful half elf, the only love interest. The characters are all so colorful. Especially that red demon maid. I feel bad for her since she's an only child. She looks like she needs a family
3) GATE S2 - You can never have too much Rory Mercury.
2) Girlish Number - Haven't seen it.
1) Love Live Sunshine - Haven't seen it. Don't like idols.

I hate Group 6. I wanted all those shows to advance.

You're welcome.

I think...

Hope it wasn't something I cared about.

Watch it be between Koyomimonogatari and either Yuri on Ice or Thunderbolt Fantasy.

That match was disturbingly close. Tanaka-kun had no rival. I think it was a 3-way race for second place.

And of course it had to be the group where I had a hard time deciding how many points to give the 3 shows other than MHA.

It was an interesting sequence at the end there. Arslan had been #2 for a while and then Koda's vote put Keijo ahead. And then, as you know already, you tied them up with your vote.

I should've given the extra point to Arslan. It was obvious that it needed it more than My Hero Academia. What was I thinking? Oh well. Like I said, I like all 4 of those shows anyways.

Looks like the ass is mightier than the sword.

So easy, and yet you got it wrong.
