I tried to replay World of Warcraft... but I'm at the point where I no longer want to continue.. I was wondering is there decent rpg online that have Vampire vs Werewolf like World of Warcraft pvp/pve (dungeons) etc? Just that lately there lot of movies/series/anime about Vampire and Werewolf.. So it wouldn't surprised me if they made a role playing online base on Vampire and Werewolf story heh.

Its 2017, my god there should be at least decent Online RPG...

Any suggestion?

I tried out Final Fantasy online when it first came out, I couldn't believe how slow it was going.. and there was lot to learn from.. so I got lazy and return to World of Warcraft! lol

Please keep in mind they killed the original version of the game and rebooted it.

Overhauled every single aspect of it, added new classes, and started a brand new story.

It's very different now, and definitely worth another go ^^

I highly recommend FFXIV, especially now that story/level jump boosts are being implemented into the game upon Stormblood launch. You'll be able to get into the meat of the story much more quickly if you opt to pay for said boosts and you'll be even in terms of level and story progression with the majority of the dedicated player base when the expansion drops.

I would recommend looking into The Secret World. It's getting a relaunch/rerelease later this month (the 28th I think). You can't play as a werewolf or vampire, but the setting is very occult based so you'll run into creatures like them. It also happens to have some of the best questing, voice acting and writing of any MMO I've ever played. It was also very soloable when I played it as well.

It's not a thriving MMO with a huge player base but it's likely the relaunch will at least give it a bit of a population spike.

I like old days like World of Warcraft, Swords, Magic.. and how the npc talk (Medieval times). :)

Thanks for letting me know about that one. :D

Other two who type in Final Fantasy online, I'll check that one out on website.. thanks :]

Besides WoW some good and/or popular MMOs are The Elder Scrolls Online, FFXIV, Black Desert Online and Guild Wars 2.

You can pretty much solo most of the leveling experience if you so desire, and the group content that you do have to do is pretty manageable to do via duty finder matchmaking. You can play as a lone wolf with no guild or static groups and be just fine in FFXIV for the most part.

Yes, I recommend Elder Scrolls Online as well. Morrowind also came out recently.

If you play games on iOS, I also recommend Order & Chaos 2: Redemption.

I would suggest Tera and Blade and Soul.
The combat for both is great, if that's what you're looking for.
Tera is more WoW in setting (fanatasy) while BnS is more feudal china/
There both free, which is why I'm interested.
However, they both felt extremely grindy, as I was playing solo, so they may not be for you.

I can grant some more credence to Tera, though. The combat, once you get the hang of it, is skill-based, and beating bosses often feels very satisfying.

I would offer to join, but I'm currently abroad and will be avoiding basically all online gaming for the next month and a half.

Also, on a mostly non-mmo note, Master x Master. Same people as BnS. Moba with MMO quests (no overarching MMO world). More scifi and fantasy mix (scifi setting).

I played the "closed" beta a few weeks ago and I liked it, so I'll drop it a mention. Plus it comes out in 5 days. It's also Free to Play
And all of these felt actually free to play, not pay to win.

Unless they changed much in the new expansion (i know skills are tiny less bloated) FFXIV is only good for a little while

I have 500 hours on it but the story is the only thing that is worth keeping you there.
The fact that Skill bloat is a massive thing and they have failed to mix things up killed the last expansion (i might come back if this expansion fixes the problems and my friends will let me know)

That and HW had a weaker story overall imo.

It's a good mmo and worth playing but like wow it has it's issues and they refuse to fix them.

Ontopic ESO is a good mmo for the loner types
