Would you buy more manga if it was distributed like this?

Nah, reading from a device just doesn't match the experience that you get from reading from a physical copy, although It does seem like an interesting idea

No.
I'm a holdout for physical copies.
Text-only books are okay as digital media, but graphica just doesn't appear as well, to my eyes.

I'm happy with hard copies but if I lived in a smaller place I think I would enjoy reading them that way, it would be cool if it came with a display case you could hang on the wall for the USBS so people could see what you had read. It would be easier to trade/borrow series from friends too and by buying the USB you would still be supporting the anime industry but could read them digitally and in the dark which can be annoying with physical manga.
Ooohhh a cool thing would be like a monthly mail crate for usbs so each month you could get a usb for a different series to read it would have other content from the series as well for your device like wallpapers and icons you could collect/use. Taking manga on a trip would be easier as well instead of packing physical volumes you could just bring the device.
So idk I really like physical but yeah if i lived in a smaller place or had less room I would probably check it out.

I LOVE getting hard copies, however, I have space to store my collection as it grows. Also some series, for me anyways, are a read once and then donate/re-sell as used copies.

That being said, if publishers were more willing to translate and sell more manga than they currently do, in a digital option I would go that route, whether it be Kindle, or some other form or distribution, if it meant I could have access to even more manga than I do now, and publishers would be more willing to translate/localize them for over seas market I would support that.

Honestly Crunchyoll or funimation should just consider selling ebook versions like Amazon does.

Since my last security hack, I look at USB flash drives as cancer I don't want in my house. Either download by internet or distribute a physical copy.

Crunchyroll already does though.

No, I wouldn't. As it is I buy a mix of hard copies and kindle editions. I buy hard copies of stuff I really, really love or want to be able to lend to friends and spread the gospel Konata izumi style. At the same time I really like being able to have a large list of titles I can download to any of my existing devices. Being able to read a chapter here and there on my phone during lulls in the day is priceless.

Yeah.. but the stacks of books look so pretty and make me happy. I might have a problem.

I wanna be Kanbaru Suruga when I grow up.
