...Is this a joke? Seriously, there is just so much wrong with what you wrote, I could write an essay on just what exactly is wrong with what you said. However since no one would bother reading it and I can't be bothered to write it, I'll just give the basics as to what's wrong with this.
1. Moe may have a lot of trash but 90% of everything is trash
2. What does and doesn't get made into seasons 2 or 3 is based on a little science called marketing, Moe anime isn't what's preventing certain shows from being continued
3. Moe =/= Slice of Life
4. You have no idea what Moe is, do you?
5. Really? You admit not all of it is Siscon, but because some of it is Siscon the entire genre is tainted?
6. What do you mean how anime was originally? Are you sure Moe is responsible for changing it or is Moe a side effect.
7. There's no accounting for taste
One thing I do suggest before going trough with this is watching different kinds of Moe. I'd recommend Shirobako. It may be Moe, but it has very little fanservice if any, and is critically praised. Or if not you could watch Sakura Quest which is in the same vein as Shirbako and both are available for streaming on Crunchyroll.

I want to restore anime to what it originally was - Kokoro Toshokan, Azumanga Daioh, A Little Snow Fairy Sugar, and Madoka Magica!

I entertained the idea of providing a more serious response, but first I would need the OP to define terms. Specifically, "moe."

Shouldn't that be

People like moe anime because it's relaxing (depends on the person) it's got comedy in most of them, and some people don't always want to watch a show with a complex story or always fighting with violence. Don't get me wrong, I like Darker than Black, OPM, and what not. Some people just like to switch things up a bit, or just for characters they find entertaining.

An "I want anime to appeal to me and only me" thread? Is it that time of the week already?

Except that would require the OP to actually have a modicum of intelligence...

It was the worst timing. I changed it immediately before entering the forums and then saw this thread . Perhaps I should change it back and then put this one as my location.

Damn it! I had only just got that song out of my head and then you freaking replied and reminded me. Got stuck all over again

Also... Lmfao.
I'm beginning to think 50 Sent and Notorious O.W.L. should be doing a collaboration

Moe anime is causing many problems in the world of 'Anime". Specifically speaking, moe anime is what I would call "Trash". Why? Because moe anime is the reason why my favorite anime's don't get season 2's and 3's.

I don't see the appeal of moe shows. I didn't want to be biased so I decided to watch a couple of shows like "Love Live" and "Dragon Maid" and "K-ON"Nah, they are trash. I have never been so bored in my life. I don't know how moe anime is making so much money. I believe its because humans are turning back into apes! Not all moe shows are incest, but all incest shows are moe. I am sorry but I am tired of this moe anime madness.

I have recently decided to begin a Anti Moe Anime Campaign also known as AMAC

If you are interested in helping me restore anime to what it originally was (Darker than black, Code gease, FMAB, Madoka Magica, etc) feel free to inbox me. If you are against my opinion, feel free to tell me why. I would honestly like to hear other peoples opinion regarding moe anime.

What do you mean by moe anime? Do you mean anime that gain audience solely by its moe appeal? Anime can have some moe elements but still have great horror, action, and plot development.

What about it is it cringe inducing though?

It is okay to feel this way, but I feel more in depth reasoning would help with this thread.

To me, it seems this thread is cringe inducing. I mean, how is AMAC going to restore anime to its former glory? Is it going to make anime of good sources that are a bit less mainstream or off the radar? Have a group show interest to studios to say "Hey, this is profitable!"

Seems like you are too ambitious without a modicum of reasonable expectations.

I feel that for all the entertainment value of a work like Code Geass, there were mechanics and characters who were used, underused, forgotten, killed off, and such that I probably wouldn't enjoy it on my second viewing.

What's the definition of moe anyway?

According to Haruhi Suzumiya (and she's God) "You need to have one moe character. Someone with glasses, or in a maid costume, or anything fetishy"

Don't think that matches up to todays spectrum of definitions.

Moe = shows that make you feel good, and peaceful.

So basically, you have the same trash definition of maturity as all emo kids and 90% of anime fans (who are just emo kids who grew up but forgot to stop being emo kids). You think that in order to be a mature adult, you need to just watch bleak shows full of blood and guts. It's rated M, so that means it must just be Better In Every Way, right?

No, grow up.

Like I said before, idol shows actually have really great character writing sometimes. In my experience, "sometimes" is like 50%, which is a better track record than the rest of anime as a whole, or the rest of media as a whole.

There are shows that have lots of Moe characters that are as dark and bleak if not darker than the crap he mentioned.

Shinsekai Yori for starters.

I feel as though 100% of people who enjoy moe shows are anti social and socially awkward. Majority of them are also keyboard warriors who type out essays when others don't agree with their opinions.
