Isn't The Donald mostly just upvote shill bots anyhow? Much like Trump's Twitter/Instagram followers?

I mean the bot scripts for it are on /pol/.

It's more than bots. It's the people who operate the bots, or at least the ones on Reddit.

I use Reddit a good bit and I can say The_Donald is a such a shit hole of hypocrisy and bullshit. Besides that fact, the fact that they are doing shit like this, is really underhanded. The sub needs to be banned.I was banned for calling them out a post about being the center of free speech on Reddit lmao. Banned along with like 100s of others. It wouldn't phase me if TD literally was some conspiracy type shit trying to move a tide in a certain way.

I'm banned from like 10+ subs I have never even visited befor.e They per-emptively ban us from subs if you post in the_donald. We would love to go out and discuss stuff on r/politics or other subs but we get banned or shadow banned like crazy. Can't even have a discussion and that is why the_donald exists. The bannings for mere discussion got annoying so we all congregated on the_donald. The_donald is a Trump fan-sub and it doesn't hide that fact. If you want discussion go to AskTrumpSupporters.

Blame the idiot left for stalking and banning us on other subs. If I even post on r/politics I am multiple votes in the negative votes in less than 5 seconds after posting.

People on both sides speculate that team behind /r/The_Donald was given trouble by the Reddit admins for referring to the place as a bastion of free speech in the description.

I think at this point, they don't even refer to other modpower-friendly Reddits when they are called out for their heavy censorship. They now basically own their censorship.

I never even posted on there before and was already banned and I barely even posted with that account. Only thing I could figure is they are constantly searching reddit, see what people are posting, and banning them preemptively.

They openly admitted to censoring us and when they made a mistake to their algorithms we owned the first two pages of the front page due to our activity and upvotes. They redesigned the algorithm to prevent us from showing up on there.

The_Donald is not for policy discussion its a Trump fansub. If your getting banned its because you don't seem to understand that. We would love to debate you on r/politics but the mods ban anything going against Hillary or anything not anti-trump. Don't even bother there now, so much for a neutral place for discussion.

Right. Nice job projecting what is happening to us and pretending like your the victim though. Not everyone does such underhanded tactics.

Instead of explaining net neutrality, they go on to use the topic as a platform to attack the Reddit Admins and basically conflate net neutrality, free speech, and censorship together into this mess that doesn't really explain net neutrality at all.

Wouldn't it be ironic if North Korea supported net neutrality? Reading your posts, you don't come off as bipartisan. If you knew how reddit conducted themselves in communication with r/the_donald, you'd have a different response.

Guess you have to try to hide your trail somehow. Glad to see you back. The infamous

What is this? A disclaimer? Wat...? Why is this even a thing?

I am for true net neutrality, yes.

Before anyone considers engaging MossRantz, remember that he is anti-conservative and you should expect him to slander anyone who isn't explicitly left wing.

Please no i don't need cancer
Not saying Donald Trump is bad or not but the people over at r_thedonald are generally very hostile and awful people atleast the loudest ones are i think it's the grouping grounds for the people who follow him that are pieces of shit aside from the decent people.

Have been over there a few times due to reading stuff on reddit and each time it's like i'm going to watch a meeting of monkeys flinging poop and insulting eachother.

Granted most political subs on reddit are this way so it's nothing new.

I'm not bipartisan. Generally to the left of Democrats, but nothing is concrete with me. But, I'm sympathetic towards a couple conservative issues, but can not at this point in time support them due to the political environment at the moment. I just can't trust any conservatives with this administration in power. Most of my news comes from conservative talk radio and that probably doesn't help.

I'm well aware of how Reddit has conducted themselves in regards to /r/The_Donald. To be frank, Reddit has no obligation whatsoever in any form to any Reddit as far as I know, so let's just get that out of the way.

In the past, I have pressed the issue as to what edits to the "front page algorithm" have been adjusted and I wasn't given satisfactory responses that imply "censorship". They seem trivial to me. I'm not even setting the bar that high. I just wanted to see what they changed and most people seem to just disappear from commenting towards me when I ask or they show me the same evidence I've seen before.

Regardless, Reddit simply needs to argue that /r/The_Donald's use of bots to reach the front page, highlighted issues with the front page algorithm that constituted abuse of their system. Hell, I barely take anything on the front page seriously anymore because I can't trust it isn't just some paid upvoted bullshit. Reddit seems perfectly rational in doing what they did and when you eliminate the idea that they deliberately targeted /r/The_Donald, it makes perfect sense what they did.

Now, I've heard of one of the Reddit admins doing something shady by editing someone's post before and that is "censorship" but let's get real here, censorship in any sense relating to Reddit of all places, is just cringy to me. They own their own site. But, Reddit being this bastion of free speech, blah blah, all of that is total nonsense and bullshit. Reddit is the most "censored" website of anything I can think of, especially politically.

They are the friendliest and most welcoming people I have ever met on the internet. I've never met a more accepting and friendly community in all my years on the internet. It's actually been quite a strange experience especially when I am rooting for gays or trans trump supporters who are blowing lib's minds.

You should watch us "fling poo" more often so I can welcome you aboard the Trump train in a few months!

Well a lot of political sub reddits pretend to foster discussion then ban opposing opinions. We literally say its a Trump circle jerk and go to AskThe_Donald/ if you want to have discussion.

If that's the friendliest then the subreddits i have been to must be saints.
Also i would never join the Trump Train unless Donald Trump stops his ridiculousness and stupid choices i mean i respect those for following people they like but i won't ever join in.

All political subs even the donald reckon they are friendly and saints but i have not seen one that isn't a trash heap including that donald that's my opinion though if you disagree that's fine

Not really anti-conservative. That's a vague term. Anti-Trump is way more specific and accurate.

And sometimes I post like an asshole, but I can also post like I'm interested in what you have to say.
