I wonder how accessible this is going to be.-.

Arc games...aren't very newcomer friendly, not that you don't have to work for your effort but their not really pick up and play either.

Japanese games tend to be like American foods. Whenever I go to America the food that's readily available to me is either extremely healthy or extremely junky. Similarly, whenever I play a Japanese game it's either very casual oriented or very hardcore oriented (with a few exceptions, mostly from Nintendo and Sony)

It's just how it is over there and you can either acclimate or play something else. It kinda sucks, but thats how it is.

Am I the only one who thinks there's something missing here? BlazBlue, Persona 4 Arena, UNIEL. They're all good and everything, but is anyone else noticing anything missing? Seriously, how am I the first to bring this up?

Guilty Gear? Tbh I don't really know why it's being excluded from this game

I think they have enough competing games launching around the same time, no need to punch Guity Gear -REV 2- in the face. I think with this, DBZ Fighters, and all - they don't need to throw GG under the bus at the same time.

I'm a little mixed about this. ARC could have definitely make an amazing Persona 5 fighting game (and I'm still hoping they aren't forgetting this as a possibility).

I also think the absence of Guilty Gear characters may have to do with the fact that Xrd is 3D. If they were to include GG characters, they would have to create new 2D sprites for each of those characters. That would be a lot of work considering that they already have to create sprites for the RWBY characters.

They could re-use sprites from XX, but those sprites wouldn't fit in well with the HD sprites of BB, UNIEL, and P4A.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to this game and DBZF.

Arcsys is absolutely killing it this generation.

I play Blazblue on my ioS. Seems like a fun fighting game although this game seems to have way more characters than that.

Should I wait for discount?

Pretty fun game so far. I don't care for RWBY in the slightest but Blake is pretty interesting to play but I still prefer my tag-team of Noel and Linne.

It's less deep than BB but crazier because all of the team play possibilities, which the game leans into pretty hard. I think overall BB has more characters, especially at launch since they will be trickled out for Tag over a longer period of time.

It's tough to say if you should wait or not, especially given that the real full cast of Tag isn't available yet. It also depends on whether you want to jump into the competitive meta or not. If so, earlier is always better.

For a more casual fan, I would probably recommend waiting, especially if you're already having enough fun with a previous title in the "series."

I picked up the game the other day solely because I love Persona 4. Probably not the best of reasons, but yeah, I am enjoying it to some degree even though fighting games aren't my area of expertise.
