In my old retail job, one of us would go to sleep and the rest would cover them up with like pillows and other shit so nobody would see them sleeping xD

I sometimes nap in the break room (it has 2 couches and a futon) during my lunch/meal and never got in trouble for it, but again, my supervisor usually does too. And yes, I do eat lunch everyday, just mostly during breaks.

People will need that 8 hour of sleep. I would sleep during the 15-minute breaks when i was working 6AM-12AM shift, just don't do it in the front lobby. I was called in for sleeping during my breaks in the lobby (around 10:45PM). I thought it was ok since there was no one there and there was a nice comfy sofa right in front of me

they fired you for it ? as long you don't sleep while working is fine, whatever you do during your breaks is your freedom

I was not fired. They called me asking why i was sleeping in the lobby. The reason was the CEO saw me sleeping on the sofa so he sent a message to the center manager. We have cameras through out the center so they pulled up the clip and asked me what i was doing. The thing is they didn't know i have a lawyer for a landlord and I read over the company policy between calls so i know what i can and can not do. They got nothing on me.

The incident was the talk of the center and i was known through out the center as "the guy who was caught sleeping by the CEO" and yet i'm still working for the company.

I was getting about 5 hours of sleep each day back then so I need to have those short 10 minutes nap (during breaks) in between to recharge.

it's not that bad. I learned a few things from the him. He will only contact me through mail!! snail mail!! He will not use email/phone calls/text at all. My guess is those methods will not hold in court in the state of California or something ?

The paper and ink method helped me when his sister asked why we didn't pay the rent. I got a letter from him before that asking me to send the payment to his sister's address for that month, with the wrong house number.

The one thing with the rich (or at least the ones i encountered) is when you are trying to contact them- they are either at the gym or the doctor's office!!

I would never be able to sleep while I work even when given the chance.

Better to nap at work instead of sleeping in and never reporting that you can't make it to work. It's what got my brother fired from more than 10 jobs, after all, since ev erybody thought he was skipping and not giving a ____ about it.

We don't have naps, we have office sex and HR and Management usually looks the other way and security sells the cam footage online.
