Well, looks like Adobe is finally ending development and support of Flash by 2020.
It feels strange, since it's been around for so much of the internet boom, but from what I hear it's for the best that we move on.

I have a bit more faith in big companies like CR to be able to transition by then, but I'm sure there will be tons of websites broken by this when they forget or just don't bother to update their websites.

The transition will undoubtedly have hiccups, but if this leads to faster/better sites with fewer crashes, then I'm all for it. I will miss some of those old-school flash sites, though.

Everyone knows Adobe makes most of their money by selling torrents of Photoshop anyway

Flash won't die then it just is no longer supported. Tons of shit will still require and use it. However most things being designed were designed with that assumption anyways.

Crunchyroll being one of the things that will still use it.

I hope java is next both are considered a security risk by many security professionals why flash is used so much I don't understand this should have happened along time ago. I forget what amazon instant video is using I think its HTML5 but I am not sure for the PC but crunchyroll needs to switch to the same platform sooner than later.

Flash is worse on Linux than it is on Windows. This fixed my issues: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/flash-control/

Oh well! hopefully, there will be HTML5 in every streaming site and Photoshop won't last forever. Raw Therapee, Darktable, Drawplus, GIMP are the future of photo editing.
