Pretty simple question here, was in a relationship for about more than 3 years so from high school up till about 4 months ago. So i kinda missed all the hip of tinder and stuff like that.

So now that i think its been a good amount of time i trying to get myself back out there, so is tinder a good way to do that? or is it kinda out dated? or is there something else that better? like crunchy roll tinder haha.

anything information will help haha thanks.

Tinder is still pretty popular. People use it for both hook ups and for serious relationships, just try to make that clear in either your bio or whoever you match with. I've heard plenty of long term couples that formed from tinder, and even some marriages. It doesn't hurt to try, but watch out for bots, tools and all the other garbage that resides on every dating app/website.

From the US right?

Maybe check up on your divorce laws, rape laws and a few recent cases in your locality before you make a decision.

N.A.W.A.L.T, but the system as it is means they all CAN be.

I'm not old enough to use tinder, so I can't speak from personal experience. I have heard that although tinder is mainly used for hookups, if you remain patient it can be a good place to find a relationship

I've never used tinder myself, but my sister did find some interesting people on it. I don't think you have anything to lose, so why not go for it? Like EternalVerity said, just make your intentions clear in the bio or after matching (bio might be better)

Wait, what are these "geek dating sites" you speak of?

No. Unless you're a a pretty female. Tinder is shit for males. You get a boost when your first create your account and get a few matches, then it goes away after a week. Basically you get zero matched after that. A waste time tbh.

It all depends on what you are looking for,.

Are you looking for a boy or a man, a girl or a woman?

It never hurts to expand your horizons.. however my advice to you is to look for significant others with common interests.. Could be at the gym, a forum such as this can even lead to dating or great friendship material.

A good friend of mine found his love on tinder. They have been dating for 3 years, currently moved in now, and are talking serious about an engagement! Best of luck!

If you're a guy, tinder can be hard. You really need to have good pictures and such. But nowadays, it isn't just a hookup site. People use it for real relationships and friendships as well!
