Hmm anime maybe like $100/yr not including CR subscription, games probably like $200/yr, manga/light novels maybe like $100/yr.
For anime I'll buy box sets for any series a really like if I can get a single season under $30 or a 2 cour run for under $60. Games I mostly stick to steam or older consoles (Wii, Xbox360, PS2) to get the most bang for my buck and manga/LN just buy stuff for the 4-5 series I am actually collecting volumes for.

Most games I buy are well under $20, I think the average is around $10. The most expensive game I've probably bought since Halo 2 is Nier Automata and that I got for $40. New games are way too expensive to shell out $60-70/title you can save bundles if you get a mid tier computer and stick to digital downloads or stay a gen or 2 behind if you don't care about keeping up with the latest and greatest. Considering most new consoles other than the Switch have more or less abandoned offline multiplayer it was an easy change for me to make.

Games $0 don't play them unless they are free

Anime just CR and maybe a Blu-ray set once every so often.

Manga is any where between $200 to $300 a month.

Not a huge gamer so about nothing. have learned from spending an excessive amount on games that I don't even touch at all.

As for anime it's just my yearly sub for Crunchyroll and a blu ray twice a year at the conventions I go to and quite a bit of good ass merch.

Manga wise about 30$ every 3 months or so depending on when the latest Boku no Hero, Food Wars and Re Zero manga become available.

So not a whole lot. I guess most of my money goes to rent + unnecessary amount of food

Games a lot. Way to much
I remember Sony was doing a deal where if you spend more than $100 on two weeks on their sales you'll get $15 credit back... I got the credit without even going for it.
Anime I usually only spend on anime figures and that ranges from $10 to $200
I pre ordered 2 Madoka Magica figures that's gonna cost me a combined total of $500
Manga I rarely read so maybe $50 tops for the whole year

Too much. I spend about $25-$300 a month or every other month (depends how my budget is and what I need to buy) on anime DVDs, video games, and sometimes manga. I try not to spend my money on stuff when I'm going to a anime con.

Nowhere near as much as i used to. I used to be one of those people that bought every single console and collected games like crazy. I own so many games that i never even played.
I used to go nuts buying steam games as well. I haven't bought a console since xbox 360 and pretty much only play PC. I only buy digital games now. So PC and digital are cheaper and i often try and buy games when they are on sale(i never pay full price for steam games) and i shop at sites where you gain points that can be converted into discount vouchers.
I dont upgrade my PC all that often and have had the same mouse for years and same key board for a while, same head set for ages.
I dont buy that many games because i play Battlefield and will play the same game for years and spend hundreds of hours on one game and aside from that i only really play RPG's. So iam always playing long games which prevents me having to buy games regularly.
I tend to be a completionist with RPG's, i get my moneys worth.
And i buy cheap indie games on steam as well.

I've never been into Manga. Only ever bought a handful.

Anime, i used to just hire them. I did that for years. Somewhere along the line i started importing hentai videos and was obsessed with that for a while lol. Then i got out of that and started collecting anime dvd's.
For a while there i was going nuts buying dvd's and also figurines/statues and wall scrolls and posters, magazines and stuff.
But i stopped doing all of that some time ago and it's just my crunchy roll subscription now.

If you are buying new games on console that is probably true. Used console games are much cheaper. I only play PC these days, and Steam is often much cheaper. I rarely buy games when they come out, but even new, many games are around the $50 mark on Steam. Rarely do I pay $70+ for a game.

Gosh, who knows. Instead of saving for vacations or whatever at work I just waste it on idol games. (I have an actual savings account, I'm not spending everything. I limit myself to a set amount of money a month)

Probably has to do with the fact that I'm a few hours away from some massive attractions to where I live so if I really need a break I could just go there.

Not as much these days.
