i spilled my professor's drink on his desk but it was with my backpack and looked like an accident. it was hectic, with his desk surrounded, so he didn't care who spilled it, he told everyone to get away immediately. it was the perfect crime.

If anyone has done anything truly awful I am doubtful they will admit it here. Most of these replies are about forgivable crap people did as kids. Most of you should be ashamed of yourselves for pretending to feel guilt over this stuff. There are countries with real poverty where people do unthinkable shit just to make enough money to buy an occasional meal or a drug fix. You were mean as a kid for no reason? So what? People kill each other for fun out there in this same world you live in. You felt bad about shooting a defenseless animal? I love animals and generally wouldn't want to kill one either, but you see the point I am making. Get over your petty,self-congradulatory childhood guilt. "Derp, I did bad stuff as a kid, but I'm like so grown up now so I know the show that I am ashamed now. I'm soo well adjusted. Look at my high-school diploma. Derp derp derp" If any of us here have something to feel bad about it is wasting our time and effort gratifying ourselves by posting b.s. in an online forum while people are dying slow deaths of malnutrition and dehydration while some dope across the ocean waters his turf grass with drinking water. Get real.

Since this thread is about dumb stuff we did that we should feel all boo-hoo guilty, I'm so sorry over, here: I did spray paint graffiti on what I would later learn were old people's houses. This was when I was like 12 or something and I still don't think it matters. I likely made those folks day giving them something to be irate and self-important about, as though they'd been targeted personally when I just wanted to paint dumb shit on someone's cookie-cutter house in suburbia. I bet they preyed for the young, misguided souls who had defaced their property at chruch and they just loved it.

Yep, love is a hell of a drug. Makes people do stupid things without thinking out possible consequences. If I thanked god I'd thank god everyday that my one serious relationship didn't result in offspring.

From what i'm reading that just makes you a good sister if you told him you did him a favour if he doesn't talk to you it's his own mistake you were being a good sister by the sounds of it.

You seem to be overthinking things. There's no poignant meaning to it or anything, I genuinely think the purpose of it is what you're described people have been doing. I know this isn't my thread, but I don't tend to create threads with the underlying notion that everyone is a cold-blooded psychopath who have done some horrific shit.

You are right, I didn't make my point very clear. I don't want or expect people to come to this thread and admit to truly terrible things they've done. Maybe I am overthinking this, pretty sure most forum posts ever made have been an exercise in overthinking mostly pointless b.s., so I'm ok overthinking it a bit. When a threads stated purpose is for people to admit the worst thing they've ever done and instead they are just going to admit to something that is not a big deal and also likely not the worst thing they've done then it seems like the purpose of the thread is to congratulate ourselves over how low-key our proclaimed worst deeds are because it makes us look like decent people or whatever. It's lame. I think it's lame. I gave my reasons for why I think it is lame.

I guess I came into this thread wanting to see people really digging deep into their past misdeeds. I thought that would be entertaining and maybe insightful. But whatever, I was wrong. No big deal.
