... they are not new shows at all, they are catalog shows, and if I did not have access to them before, having them stream on a different site will not modify the license.

Oh yeah, I forgot, you have to be living in the US or Canada for Crunchyroll to be worth it.

Unless, like most people, you mostly use Crunchyroll to watch simulcasts. Then Crunchyroll offers almost everyone outside of Asia a broader range of simulcasts than any other streaming service.

If someone is living in Asia, you'd have to be a real big Boruto fan for Crunchyroll to be worth it, but nowadays anyone living in the Americas, Europe, Africa or Oceania is getting a broader range of anime than North American fans were getting in 2009 when Crunchyroll first went legit.

First, they are new to me, because I'm trying to wait for the shows to be licensed in my area, you know the legal way.
Second, yes we are getting more now then north America did back in 2009, did I ever say anything to contradict that? But if you are saying we are getting the same number of simulcasts in Europe as in north America, pls check again. And the thing I actually would like to be able to do is watch some OG Dragonball, bench Code Geass in HD and watch some of the Big pearls from the past, and that would be lovely if that was posible here.

So yes, Crunchyroll isn't all what I expected it to be, but i'm still going to pay and support the community, because I hope that with time it wil grow, and become equally available to everybody.

But this is not an announcement of a new license, so it's only going to given people access if Funimation was given the rights to a territory it didn't stream to. That is only going to be some Nordic countries and South Africa, and depends entirely on how the licensor carved up territories, because Funimation was not asking for anything beyond North American rights until they started their UK streaming site.

You said you were not getting enough anime at Crunchyroll to justify the price. I was just pointing out that you are getting more anime at Crunchyroll than anybody was getting when Crunchyroll first went legit.

If you think you are getting the same number of simulcasts as we get in Asia, you should check that too. You get a lot closer to the number of simulcasts that North America gets than the number that anyone in Asia gets from Crunchyroll.

And the thing I actually would like to be able to do is watch some OG Dragonball, bench Code Geass in HD and watch some of the Big pearls from the past, and that would be lovely if that was posible here.

But getting those in places that have not had the rights before requires a new contract, with the royalties from the new contract very unlikely to cover the licensors contracting cost. Or else (as in Tatami Galaxy in the UK), requires an existing rights holder to grant Crunchyroll the rights, in which case the people to talk to is the existing rights holder ... Crunchyroll has shown they are happy to do deals.

So yes, Crunchyroll isn't all what I expected it to be, ...

I was just saying that if you expected old Funimation licenses to expand into territories where Funimation never had the rights as the Funimation catalog moves to Crunchyroll ... your expectations were unrealistic.

The reason has been stated in these topics time and time again.

These are titles from Funimation, which had no interest in anything outside of the US and Canada until relatively recently, and even then, they were only interested in licensing for English-speaking countries. For any older titles they might have gained rights to for other countries (like the UK & Ireland), they were more than happy to sub-license those rights to another company. Any rights they had beyond that (such as for Scandinavian countries) were a fortunate circumstance for the present, due to that being the "block" that was available from the licensor.

Two include the UK, Ireland & South Africa, one of those also include Oz/NZ, the Netherlands and the Nordic countries except Finland.

(Mind, except for some more recent licenses for the UK, not because Funimation asked for those, but because the licensors included those in the same licensing region as North America)

You have an odd definition of "everything." It might be clearer if you used the more common definition.

Nothing for Spain...as usual. Subscriptions should be cheaper here since we hardly ever get anything at all.

With the title of this topic including the words "from Funimation", did you really have any reason to check?
