Hard to single out one thing. It's my birthplace, my home. It has many things of which I am proud. My experience with other countries is limited however. A few visits to the States. I don't have much to compare it with.

If I could describe it, then one would be that discrimination occur less on racial lines than in US. The new ethic communities that immigrants to Canada also do not mix with others unlike the "melting pot" that characterize US and this may or may not be a flavorable thing in Canada. The third is that the populists did not get elected in Canada, and did not gain influence on the national level, and may not be able to due to the local political condition.

I've never been there but the countryside landscapes look great to visit in the summer time. There's no way I'd go there in winter.
