"We Are X" Rocks Out Exclusively on Hulu

X Japan rockumentary comes to streaming service.


X Japan founder and potential immortal Yoshiki has been touring the world with We Are X, the new documentary following the legendary Japanese band's rise to stardom. If you're a fan and have been dying for a chance to see what all the fuss is about, your chance is here: We Are X is now streaming on Hulu.



Hulu premiered the documentary July 2 via an agreement with Magnolia Pictures, the film's distributor. The Magnolia Pictures Hulu page also offers access to films like the Ong Bak trilogy and Jet Li's The Sorceror and the White Snake.

We Are X has been critically acclaimed since its premiere, featuring band footage and guest interviews. It details the rise to stardom of X Japan as they found fame in the United States and worldwide. Until now, the film was primarily only shown at conventions, film festivals, and private engagements.
