Wow! What an incredible way to bring back a classic
Tears! Suffering! Surprise! Elation! Can’t wait until the next episode and then the next and all the others after that. The main character is adorable. Love her already. The animation and design is phenomenal. Truly a work of art.

Thanks for bringing this classic back to life for a whole new generation to enjoy

Genuinely impressed...a much deeper shoujo rom-com than expected
I came into this on a recommendation, not seeing or knowing anything about it beforehand. Without going into the story and spoiling it, best I can do is try to encapsulate it all into something short. Probably the best if not the top 5 stories to try and take a dive into the rabbit hole of complex human emotions, insecurities, and developmental challenges everyone faces in life. 100% worth the ...

    Not Your Typical Shoujo
This show creates a perfect balance between light-hearted comedy and emotional looks at depression, anxiety, PTSD, and much more. The characters are absolutely lovely with their own distinct personalities and flaws. This isn't your typical shoujo anime, it's so much more!

    Thoughtful, gentle, entertaining
I didn't think I'd like this anime at first glance, given that it seemed like it involved some shallow love triangle high school romance, but I was wrong. It's actually quite mature, philosophical, and often beautiful in its sentiments. The character development is great.

    So far, really good!!
1st episode was nice, it is very similar to the original anime (2001) with a few differences, though we are still on the 1st episode. Being that it has been 18 years since the first one, the animation in this one is more sharp! The characters are physically closer to the manga on this round (Shigure's and Yuki's hair/eyes). Yuki's voice threw me off a little, as in the original he was very ...

    flawless adaptation :)
Read the manga sooo many years ago and just recently got back to watching anime. Honestly, in the beginning of season 1, Tohru's personality is not realistic and the whole season is very wholesome... almost too wholesome but as you keep watching, you slowly get attached to the characters. You watch the character development of the Somha's and their insecurities make you think how that can ...

touches da heart and makes u cry
i love this anime so much. the art is beautiful and the storyline is so flavorful . its one of the best anime ive ever seen, especially for romance/reverse harems. the main protagonist isnt some stupid drone and i cried myself to sleep after watching the ending of season 1.

    Breathtaking and Heartbreaking
I'm so mad that my sister recommended this show to me because I am obsessed with it. I did not read the original mango just to be clear but still found this show very nostalgic like a sweet childhood memory or comfort food. The characters are cute but not too overdramatic that could make me cringe. I rewatch episodes when I'm feeling a little down and it reminds me of what to be grateful for.

Unsure of who I am supposed to root for
This is a really great show, and it has made me laugh, cry, and feel all the feels.

However, I am a bit put off by how everyone seems to be in love with Tohru. It is hard to commit to something when it feels like every character is our main character's love interest. Its serious nature at times makes it borderline seinen instead of shojo.

I understand that more than 1 person can be in love ...
