  • Pretty good remake ...
Been a fan of this series for years and I'm glad it's getting this redo i haven't noticed a huge difference between the older version and this one so far (except giving Momiji a german accent which didn't seem necessary) and continuing on to a second season as the older version always seemed unfinished. The English dub for both versions is very good it hasn't lost any of the feels from either ...

  • Seriously in Love!!!
This anime just keeps getting better and better! I absolutely loved the first Fruits Basket and was excited to hear they were remaking it closer to the manga. I swear this story gets me every time! Just letting the tears fall lol. It's truly spectacular! I can't wait for season two to come out in 2020.

  • heart warming surprise
I've never quite gotten into shows like these, but fruit basket had me loving every bit. It was amazing to follow the journey and fall in love with the characters. To integrate so much humility in a character such as Honda and to see her act and speak out of feeling. The simplicity in her thoughts and the way she plays things out really just warmed my heart. In a period of my life where things are ...

  • Absolutely beautiful
I watched the first Fruits Basket anime when I was in elementary school. It was my very first anime, and it holds a special place in my heart. The show, back then, left a huge impression on me; Tohru's lessons and kindness motivated me to be like her, to be a kinder, more compassionate person. Her lessons stuck with me for life. So, when I heard that the anime would be getting a reboot and that ...

  • A must-see classic for lessons in Enlightenment...
Fruits Basket is a classic for exploring the landscape of the soul...

As main character Tohru 'joins' the Soma family, it's members - literally "spirits" from the Chinese zodiac, slowly realize that their 'curse' is also an invitation to become better people/souls...

Sometimes, that realization is sudden and cheerful. But more often, it's obscured by darknesss and pain.

    At the same ...

  • #289. Rebooted and ready to impress, a must-see of 2019!
Tohru Honda is a kind soul, living with her mother and always enjoying her story about the Chinese Zodiacs. Sadly, those times are long gone, ever since her mother passed away. Now in high school, Tohru is filled with spirited determination to finish high school and live a good life! That said though, she is currently living in a tent out in the woods while attending school, a decision she decided ...

  • Childhood Dreams Coming True
I still cannot BELIEVE that they are rebooting this story from 2001, and I am incredibly grateful. They have stayed so much more faithful to the manga, and the character development, story arcs, and worldbuilding is so rich. The animation is viewing, the voice acting is on point, and I am so excited to see my gateway manga & anime animated to the screen.

  • Fell in Love With This!
I watched the 2001 version and I've read the manga and I would say this remake is the absolute best. It incorporates the manga which is what the 2001 version lacked and left out and I'm so happy that they are going to continue this series because 2001 did not do Kyo and Tohru justice. The character development isn't rushed and the animation is beautiful. I truly recommend this series if you want ...

  • One of the cutest and most eye catching animes
I love this anime! I was introduced to this anime by my aunt who actually had bought the series when it came out, It is now a love we share together and it is so remember-able that we can talk in detail about things we like and our favorite parts even when we haven't seen it in a while.

  • Best Anime Ever Ever
My favorite anime! I remember watching the original when I was younger and fell in love with the plot. Now I'm 21 and just in heaven with the everything. Plot? Amazing. Drawings? AMAZING. Voice? Amazing. Seriously hoping they continue it, I need more seasons.
