Gamers! -- An unexpected and refreshing show. (Updated)
There have been quite a few anime that are based on gamers and gamer culture. As a gamer myself, sometimes I find the portrayal of gamer characters to be a little off in anime and other media. Gaming anime typically features some genius level gamer who is either unaware of his/her talent or is aware of it and extremely overconfident. This anime, however, often likes to poke fun at that cliche ...

It's good, but hear me out
This show has two sides to it; one which focuses on relationships formed through gaming, and the other in which these relationships are intertwined and tangled through a complex love web. It's a unique, refreshing formula that breaks conventions and creates enjoyable characters, but somewhere around episode 3 they started going overboard with the second side that I described, the love web. At ...

    Misunderstandings: The Anime
This started out as quite a decent anime about video games and their players and turned into nothing but constant un-rectified and silly misunderstandings. Situations easily avoided become long term complications for no apparent reason than to force drama.

Stupid and unnecessary conclusions are drawn from vague statements which leads to even more misunderstandings. For an anime named "Gamers" ...

Plot collapses in to a mess of Deus ex machina
The series starts out well and is genuinely funny at the beginning, but about half way through falls into the "this can only happen because the characters are not saying things any person in their situation would say" trap. Plots built on miscommunication can be interesting, but only if the miscommunication seems genuine. The convoluted mess that is this game of telephone becomes frustrating, not ...

As the name may suggest, this is an anime for gamers. Yes, even you.

Usually in anime, gamers are treated like some incredible group that lives in a completely different world from everyone else. However, as most gamers, myself included, will know, we're usually not full-blown otaku hardcore gaming pros. This anime gets that.

The main character, Amano Keita, is invited by a world record contending speedrunner (for a mario game, I think) to a gaming club,

    AMAZING!!! cant wait for more
Honestly, I'm not sure how to describe it, but one episode this show has me laughing so much. I feel like this show has some sort of magic to it, also as a gamer I cant help but see some games that I love being referenced. I cant wait for more episodes!

    Crazy start, terrible finish
I thought this anime, at I first, was gonna be awesome! The first half was so interesting and was full of twists I wasn't expecting! Like when Keita declined the club offer or when he asked Tendou-san out. But it ended like it didn't even know what it was leading up to and the producers just said "f*** it" and ended it wherever. None of the "misunderstandings" were even resolved and none the ...

A complete waste of a great plot point
The premise of the anime sounds great in paper, sure, a lot of us might actually feel that this anime might hit close to home but it's nowhere near that.

Not only that, but the anime forgets it's main plotline around the 3rd episode to go into a romcom setting that made everyone cringe so hard it might have actually caused an earthquake somewhere in the world. I kept giving it a chance simply ...

One of the best Gaming based Animes to date!
Seriously, just watch the first episode.
If you love Gaming and Anime, how could you not love a gaming anime?!?! Slice of life highschool anime with all the typical goods. Cute high school girls, love interests, comedy, and of course, gaming. Could you really ask for more?

The title supposed to be "Misunderstand-ers"
like really they all overthink shit and they don't ask to confirm the shit this is a crappy anime. the story is all about misunderstandings. if the other one misunderstands the other one the other party would misunderstands it in a different way and another person would also misunderstands the situation in another level and they just circulates same pattern. so, idk why they named it "gamers" they ...
