  • A Social World with Superheroes
This show is an excellent watch if you have interest in either social psychology or social media. It brings up both of these topics in its two seasons with each season taking on a different aspect of these two ideas. Really most of the characters of this show are really there to facilitate the events of what happens when certain things are set into motion by a greater social force. So if you like ...

  • Worth Watching Even Now
I had my doubts about Gatchaman since it had some of what I call my anime red flags up, but honestly I'm so glad I gave it a chance. The art is wonderful and the soundtrack is lush. Don't even get me started on the G-suit designs! Honestly this was a blast to watch especially considering the prominence of the female protagonists. Please give this show a watch!

  • Not the Heroes you want, but the ones you Need.
Are you a Political Science Major?
    Are you a Psychology Major?
Are you of Voting Age in your country?
Have you ever wondered if things could be done differently?
Have you ever just gone with the flow, doing what everyone else did, only to regret it?
This is a show for you.

The Art Style is more of a love it or hate it affair (I'm not always fond of it). 2.5/5
The Music is mundane, or ...

  • Why Does It Always End So Well?
I am always struggling through the series, but speed through the final episodes.

This series was made on killer endings.

The characters all develop pretty well (my favorite characters don't get nearly enough screen time), the animation is average, and the plot is not too bad and quite relevant for our digital age. However, this series knows how to close, and I always feel so satisfied at the ...

  • Interesting Philosophy but Weak Character Development
There are social issues that inspire viewers to think. Multiple issues are connected together smoothly through the season, and solutions to them are also inspiring.

The art style is unique as it was in the first season, but weak character development is still a problem - one can see characters' personality, but most of their thoughts are unknown.

  • What a great series.
Utterly creative, wonderfully thought provoking and exceptionally unique. What isn't to love about Gatchaman? Hajime-chan in particular is a shining star, but every character is well thought out. No one is without fault or virtue and it's impossible to completely hate any one character.

Unlike many series, there is no 'reset' button. No status quo the series reverts to after every conclusion. ...

  • Insight takes the show in an interesting direction!
    Pros:
Hajime is one of the best anime characters of all time.
    Young Gelsadara is cute.
The show tackles a concept most anime's would never touch.
Awesome music like the first series.

    Cons:
The show can seem a bit slow at times.
Could always use more dance music in the show.
Older Gelsadara isn't that good of a character.

  • Cloudcuckoolander and team to the (awesome!) rescule!
This show is really, really good!

The characters are fun and diverse without anybody feeling like a token cardboard-cutout, the pacing is fast and keeps you on the edge of your seat, the fights are spectacular, the animation beautiful and the plot itself is surprisingly innovative and clever. It touches some really unique concepts and makes them fit naturally into the plot. And while not ...

  • Gatchaman Crowds really makes you think
I've never been a fan of mecha, but Hajime's personality glued me to the screen. S1 ep1 JJ pulled a NOTE out of her and instead of being surprised, she accepted it at face value and went with it. This was a first for me "Woah! She didn't overreact and she wasn't too hesitant about being chosen as a Gatchaman! What is this??"

  • One Of My All Time Favorites
Hands down the best reboots of all time and possibly one of the most underrated of animes.

Even in the 70's, Gatchaman was super progressive by making Berg Katze notoriously trans. Do you have any idea how long it took for even an american sitcom to do that!? I'm pretty sure it was like 2014.

The characters aren't traditional which makes them unforgettable. There's no love story in this ...
