  • Feels like a Harem, But is it One?
    Haganai is about a group of outcasts who join a club to make friends. It may feel like a harem because there is only one male character surrounded by many females. It breaks from harem style though, in that it does not have all of the girls chase after the guy.

    Don't waste your time.
    Unless you're big into fanservice and characters who are unable to process or communicate their feelings, I suggest skipping this show. Every character is either obnoxious or one note, with maybe one or two exceptions that get treated consistently poorly by the narrative.

    This show is extremely Underrated, you MUST watch season 2 to enjoy Haganai.

    fun slice of club life harem
    Haganai is a fun slice of life slightly harem sitcom. The characters are fun and vibrant and the story is fairly novel. They create a club for people that feel isolated or don't have real friends to practice making friends.
