Entertaining and intriguing, despite plot overload
My only problem with this show thus far is that there is a LOT going on in the first episode. It introduces wayyy too many characters, and I seriously felt like in order to follow every character and their relationship to the rest of the cast I'd need to be taking notes, or at least give the episode a second watch.

But with that aside, the story is promising. Think Durarara but revolving around ...

    So Cool! Already Hooked :)
This series is so promising, I cannot wait to see what happens next! This is very much a Sienen series in every respect. I love the complex myriad of characters and story lines. Watching how they interweave and collide is a real treat! Also the overt casualness and occasional humor adds a much needed counter balance the characters brutal occupations and Hakata's seedy underbelly.

    There is a ...

Hakata Tonkotsu RAMENS = anime NOT about RAMEN
Im going to make this review short and sweet. Im 2 episodes in (because thats all that CR currently has released) and I have to say I'm DIGGING this!!! It has a cowboy bebop mixed with Durara feel to it. It's one of the animes that isn't about T&A or the typical anime cliche' or type casted characters. This seems to have its own unique bounce in its step. Watch it, it's worth it so far. The ...

    Standard film noir detective story
There is a --in my opinion-- insignificant twist in the characters, namely, one hitman is a crossdresser. Think Eddie Izzard as a hitman. Honestly, doesn't add much to the story. The story is as dark and sordid as you'd expect from a show about hitmen. The style and music are reminiscent of Durarara!! The difference is there is no real protagonist, but the antagonists are plain and clearly ...

    Weird but good weird
Only 2 episodes have been released at the time of writing and up till now the show has been quite interesting. It's a comedy crime drama but can be a bit serious when it wants to be. The characters are engaging and different. The plot isn't the best and things seem too coincidental and stupid at times but overall its fun. For all it's faults the setting i.e. Hakata, while unrealistic, is highly ...

    Get lost in the slickness?
It seems like another show that has to cram as much as possible into a single episode to get to the plot points, so loses out on tone, mood, and establishing characters. But high quality animation and great sound. Might have good suspenseful episodes.

one of the most sadest attempts of anime
This series takes quite the bad turn in many ways. it should be known that for some reason this adheres to crossdressing fetish which is a big unserious decision for an anime it should be not taken Lightly as this one of 2 reasons why this anime is going down the drain fast.

    I Really Hope They Continue
It’s a only been three episodes and I already love it.

Of course, every anime has its faults, but this one still remains original. Some people complain about how there are a lot of bad choices the animators made, but I feel like the animation itself completely makes up for it.

I would highly recommend this to anybody interested in the genre.

Complex, but I am seeing it through!
I'm not going to lie, the first episode was so crammed full of characters & plot I almost passed on continued viewing. So far, with each episode that passes, bit by bit the plot starts to make sense and I am recalling who individual characters are. I'm not sure if I truly like this anime or I am watching because I was so confused at the complex storyline and want to know the end result...either ...
