A surprisingly funny take on world history
Hetalia. What can I say about it? It's a fun little world history parody anime with several countries being portrayed by human beings.

It's decently funny and charming to see a bunch of heavily stereotyped characters giving history lessons in their own silly little skits. If you'd like the most out of the series, please give the dub at least one chance. You should check it out on Funimation's ...

    Hetalia a world re-view
Can you imagine if nations were people too? Well, in this anime they are! From the mind of Hidekaz Himaruya, this comedy is world history delivered in rapid fire succession. The show covers different nations and is worth the watch. If you are a fan of satire add Hetalia to your list.

  • **UNPOPULAR OPINION ALERT**
Ok, so yes I'm a Hetalia fan. I'm well aware of the flack that not only the fans of this show , but the show as a whole gets, but this show is too funny dammit. It's kinda sad that alot of people dismiss this show just because of the toxic fangirls that surround it. The English dub for this is phenomenal with an all-star cast. The comedy is excellent as well as highlights history in a way that I ...

  • An International Hit
This has been one of my favorite shows for a long time, and trust me, you will not regret watching it. Firstly, the pacing of the show is very fast (each episode is only 5 minutes), but the show really utilizes its time well. The fast pacing works amazingly well with the comedic tone of the series! Secondly, the characters are incredibly lovable. Every single one is charming in their own way ...

  • This Wonderful Anime
This anime has taken over my life and it has both good and bad qualities but it always makes me laugh and it is easy to fit an episode in even when I'm busy since each episode is only 5 minutes (including outro). For a really good analysis, I suggest this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPJTYSmxot0

  • A lot of fun to watch
I'm a history person, so I always love things that have to do with history. I didn't know what to expect when I watched this. I remember all the hype around it when it came out, but I had never gotten into it.

I'm glad I finally did now, and I think it was better that I waited! I appreciate it more now then I would have when it came out !

    Definitely a fun watch.

  • Finally after waiting for years
I'm rewatching this 5 years after watching it for the first time and it's just as funny! Heads up, the dub is still funnier so please add it on here too!!! It adds a funny twist to your history lessons and will highkey make you remember your history a lot faster. I made my history teacher watch it back when I was 12 and he loved it haha

  • At Last! It's finally here~!
Even though I've got the entire series (sans the movie) on DVD now, It's nice to see it on Crunchyroll finally~! Now I can watch it on my phone while on the go~
I've been a fan of this series sense 2010, it's full of fun satire and not to be taken seriously, which is the whole point at times

  • Helped Me Push Through World History
It becomes a lot simpler to focus on a subject you don't like when you have cute characters to shove in place of country names. It also gives a whole new meaning to a line on some of my notes: "Austria was the largest city-state, but Prussia was the dominant." (PS That class was 3 years ago. I may have switched the country names.)
