  • incredible emotional depth and great story
I had my initial doubts about the premise, but I had no reason to worry. After the first three episodes (which are, mind you, essential for character development), it becomes clear that this is a story about healing, growing up, and what makes a good person. With an excellent cast of secondary characters, a truly moving relationship between the MCs, and a heartwrenching but realistic story, this ...

  • Had my doubts but...
Wasn't really sure about this anime as the title was quite misleading.

This anime turned out to be such a warm and wholesome show. Not much of a romance but more of a "you need to learn how to love yourself and set standards for what is right for you. Don't just go along with something just because it's convenient or just because it's right there" kind of love story. You will still smile ...

  • I’m a bit iffy on this one...
I mean, the concept itself is in baffling levels of stupidity, and I dont’t really like how the main female protagonist is portrayed here, taking her backstory into account. I’ll give it points for the twists and turns the story takes though, and the characters had a certain level of charm to then

  • Best show iv ever watched
I really enjoyed the show and how messed up Sayu-chan's backstory is
it definitely had tons of plot twists. One thing i did not like about the show was Yoshida-san's coworker with the short hair. I found her to be very annoying and irritating throughout the entire series.
This show is by far one of the most wholesome anime iv ever watched.
    10/10 thank you

  • It's not what you think.
This is one of the best anime that give me a sense of kindness in humanity what more can I say, it's just one of best romance anime that I've ever seen. It's all very real life situations and how the world can react to it. Honestly you have to watch it yourself and you'll see what I'm taking about!

  • Very emotional by enjoyable
This is one of those anime that really tick your emotions.

I really loved the way the story developed, even though had its sad moments it was really good watch. Saw it twice already, even my wife joined the second time and liked it.

Really hope they would come up with a second season.

    Highly recommend it.

  • Hit too close to home
I don't want to be that specific individual, but this anime caught me off-guard and left me exasperated. The initial 3-5 episodes were mostly an alternate representation of a prominent and controversial topic in Japan in real life. However, upon episode 9, the anime's cliche began to slowly transform into that of a emotional rollercoaster.

For episode 11-13, the anime simply hit way too close ...

  • An absolute work of art.
I highly recommend that you give this a watch. Not only is the art top notch, the story deep, full of tension, sadness and joy. From the first few minutes I had my doubts, the title specifically had me worried, however I quickly fell in love with the anime, the characters and the moral tug of war that is portrayed within this heart wrenching yet gratifying story.

    I won't say more. Nuff said. I ...

    An Imperfect Step Forward
This show is complicated, and that's because it both succeeds and then errs in it's goal. Ideally, this should be about the development of a platonic relationship between a mid-20s adult man and a teenage girl who stays in his place for 6 months. That's what it needed to be because anything else would be pedophilia. As a whole the writers understand this and do achieve it while leaving room for ...

    Surprisingly good...
The character's interactions are more detailed and honest than expected. How the characters deal with the serious issues in the show is more direct and serious than expected. For people who can relate to the themes in the show it is an emotional, uncomfortable, and thought provoking ride. When I started this show I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good this show was.
