  • Comfy 1st season, Midline payout 2nd season- Hang in there.
If you're looking for a low stress, low risk anime to kill some time, with some super heartwarming slice-of-life moments and enjoyable character interactions this is a nice way to pass the time.

The first season is comfy as one can get with a girl who needs the protection of 5 attractive anime guys. Super laid back, insanely slow, definitely a slow build on the romance, but also enjoyable if ...

Watch this with an open mind.
So many of the reviews that I read before watching the show kept complaining about the reverse harem aspect to this anime. I don't really see why except for the last minute of each episode where they profess feelings for the viewer's sake. I knew from the very first few minutes who she was going to end up with.
If you throw out the reverse harem concept you are left with a really good anime. ...

  • Had Potential; A lot of Problems
If you can make it through this whole anime, good on you. It was a trek, to say the least. The plot is extremely slow-moving, confusing, and just annoying to watch at times. If you have a desire to skip ahead while watching an anime for the first time, something is wrong. The guardians and Tamaki's personalities really carry the show, to be honest, but there were times that I would have punched ...

  • It was entertaining.
It kept me interested, but it did feel a little long in certain parts and some of the parts seems a little tedious or repetitive. The characters were interesting, its nice to see characters who aren't all perfect. Overall it was a good story and I enjoyed it.

  • You Can Scroll Past This One
I wish I could write that the problem with this show was simply that it is unoriginal, but it has so many other problems. The lackluster plot is only highlighted by the monotonous characters to the point where it becomes a challenge of sheer will power to get through one full conversation before just skipping ahead to the ending.

The problem isn't that the plot is unoriginal, or even that the ...

  • Waiting for it to develop
At first I really liked this show. The characters were cool, the premise was nothing new but they implemented it in a new way. The reason why I gave it such a low rating was because I felt like the characters didn't develop or change. The characters were mean or nice to each other and it want on like that. No one developing new skills, becoming a better person, no one seemed to progress in the ...

  • Waste of time, boring and unoriginal
I can waste a lot of words on this, but I'll try to make it short.

    It's boring.

There is no character development, and the plot development is extremely weak. It boggles my mind that it takes so many episodes for her to even question what her role is, and decide they all need more information. But it's presented in such a way that you don't care anymore and rather would skip to the last ...

  • Second season beats the first
This anime has two seasons and I am glad that i held on and kept watching.

I truly loved the depth of the second season and the background of the main characters and their powered up transformations once Tamaki became a true princess.

The first season mostly covered creating the bonds between the characters and the groundwork to make the second season a success so dont give up on watching ...

  • One of my new Favs!!!
I found this anime to be very appeasing, it slightly reminded me of InuYasha. The first season is extremely slow and the plot development doesn't will progress until a few episodes into the second season. Though that being said I think all of the episodes were still needed, it made you fall in 'love' with the character as you get to learn more and more about them.
