    Average humor, unacceptable animation
I'm always up for a goody comedy. Two excellent examples from just last season are Chio's School Road and Asobi Asobase, both absurd and hilarious in their own unique way. Himote House's humor hits about 40% of these two, and seems funny enough in the first episode, but that's not enough to make it watchable.

On the other hand, the animation is more than enough to make this series utterly ...

    Unique Animation But Unclear Premise
Himote House at first glance looks like a slice-of-life comedy about five young women and their cat living together. Typical sitcom fair. When I fired up episode one, I was thinking it'd be a nice spin from the usual high school antics most anime feature and actually feature adults. Well, I was right on that last part, anyway.

The story starts with Tae Hongou getting off the train in Tokyo, ...

    Slow roll to Introspection
It starts off slow, then moves into intellectualism and analysis of some life's most pressing issues. It uses the micro level issues of sharing a living space and connects them to the macro level, a.k.a, our civilization. Finally, the end of the first episode branches out into sci-fi, fantasy, mystery, and with a little loli-ecchi mixed in for good measure. So much packed into a 10 minute episode! ...

A bad implementation of 3D, boring plot!
I was so disturbed by the look and lack of animation of the characters, that I remember little else. Their mouths don't move at all or seemingly randomly. Even though it's 3D they don't take advantage of it, there is no rotating point if view or sweeps by the action! All of their movements are mechanical. And there's long discussions about how much laundry they have to do and what colors they ...

one of the worst anime yet
the 3d animation are absolutely disgusting and the motion almost made me dizzy. I only watched 3 mins of it because it was horrifying so i cannot write a complete review. this is just blank space to complete the review, so don't mind it... Thank you.

    Pretty bad. Wouldn't recommend.
Bad graphics, bad story writing, bad characters, bad dialogue, bad story flow. Just plain bad bad bad. Not to mention boring. Sooooooo boring. And annoying.

(Sorry for the choppy sentence writing above, but just trying to fill up space to get to the required amount of characters. It's so bad that doing a full review just isn't needed because it's really not worth the effort.)

Take the show for what it is, understand what it's trying to do, and judge it accordingly.
The show is a nice way to kill some time, or unwind after watching more serious series'.

People bitch about the animation quality, but there's nothing wrong with it for what it's trying to do. Kids today are too spoiled with high definition and have no way to comprehend the concept that "looks aren't everything". I mean, Kemono Friends had worse animation than this, and it became one of the ...

don't think to hard about it
this is litterally an anime about 5 girls living together, and it's about chit chatting and tthe ideas they come up with around social subjects, the best part is the ending segment where they all sit around talking shit and having fun about all kinds of things.

    Pointless, Yet Aggravating
Pretty girls, talking cats, strange powers. Sounds like it would result in _something_ interesting, but it doesn't. The characters don't gel, and the oddities seem to be deliberately omitted until the best time to revel them, comic timing-wise.

All in all, a very weak series.

Watch it just for the bits at the end.
Ok, yes. it's a 3d anime, which for some reason.. everyone hates, I think it's charming. Beyond that, the show is fun little adventures of girls living in a share house and they also happen to have super powers.. no big deal.

Where this show shines, however, is after the events of the "main show". it has the girls sitting around the couch just talking, playing games, and what not... The ...
