A new anime that has potential
At first glance, the plot seemed odd and different, but then by the second episode, things fell into place. It cleared up a lot of the, why is this like this or how come those things are doing this, etc., etc.. The groundwork has been laid with great action sequences, which have implied that they are only going to get a lot more action packed and suspenseful. The plot is starting to come together ...

Great Super Natural / Martial Arts anime.
This is more of a martial arts anime than a zombie anime.
I watched first 9 episodes in one binge afternoon. And am now hanging in suspense waiting for episode 10.
Some reviewers say its slow at start, and I can see how they say that, but its totally worth it as things really heat up by end of episode 2.
I love the way they change between realistic and super emotive faces.
So say no to the ...

Slow burn that is worth your time
This is really good. Just a slow burn that is worth your time. It is one of those series that is full of feels and action. I have to admit I did not like episode one but after watching more than that I grew to like this show a lot and I hope we get another 12 episodes.

    I gave it 10 episodes
Where I'm coming from: I like Anime for 1) Animation and 2) Characters. Art, backgrounds, OST, they're important, but secondary.
This show failed on my 2 most important qualities that I WATCH Anime for. 1) The Animation is only decent for about 5-10 minutes in only 3 episodes. If your not going to animate an anime, I could read it as book. 2) Strong Character Design and dialogue? Nope, ...

Fun to watch, an excellent martial arts series
I can see why some lost interest in a few episodes, the plot and the characters a slow to develop. Now in the 9th episode, it is a quite entertaining series. It just keeps getting better. The relationships are fleshed out better. And we see glimpses of what kind of hero Cho Soran is becoming. It's a powerful storey comprised of mixed Chinese and Japanese talents.

Perfect balance between Action and Comedy
This anime was very refreshing to watch. It provided enough action to keep me tuned in while also providing enough comedic relief to bring out a few laughs. This anime does deserve 5 stars, but it only received 4 for the fan service. Personally I don't like the amount of fan service in todays anime. In my opinion, this anime would've been just fine without it. Other than that, it was a very fun to ...

I usually dont do this but here we go
I want to start off by saying I don't normally leave reviews. It doesn't really feel important but seeing some of the negatives against this anime made me wanna pitch in my 2 cents.

Characters- The character development at first felt weak. By the end of the 1st season they really spice it up. Building on side character like Fuu and gramps. They do a good job and by the end of the first season ...

honestly this is a hidden gem
There is no anime out like this at the time. If you have the stamina to hold out and watch this then please do. I honestly thought this would be trash but it has everything I look for in a anime. It has a great mystery in the whole thing and give the protagonist a good back story. Always keeps you on your toes and lastly adds some badass battles. Please watch the whole thing before you ...

Slow Season One, Holycrap Lightspeed Season Two
Look, look, look, look. There's a lot of negative reviews out there for the pacing of this. But you have to understand the source material for this show is Chinese. The graphic novels coming out of China are usually slower to build.

You're going to have to tough out a dragging season one. It's long, and hard. But it's worth it.

Once you hit season two the show takes off and will leave ...

One of my favorite new shows to date, Always looking forward to next episode
I'll preface this by saying that people who only watch 10 episodes and give up don't get to talk.
It's dismaying to see that the "Most Helpful" review for this one is by a guy who only watched this far, and obviously has not only absurd standards, but 0 patience to actually follow a plot.

If you don't have the patience to follow a proper martial arts anime, then stay away from them, because ...
