If you are a fan of Sherlock Holmes, with a twist of romance this is the right show for you.
It is very educational in terms of antiques and several Japanese history related. I really like the fact that the MC is very cool, intelligent and highly observant. The animation is definitely A+ as well as the voice acting. With the episode 1, it introduces several main characters and provides an idea about the story. A young and highly talented + skilled lad is currently managing an Antique Shop ...

    This Is Not A Shonen
Now that you know it's not a fighting manga for teenage boys, you'll know not to expect it to be that.

It's a slice of life, in a very relaxing atmosphere. It has a bit of romance, a bit of sadness, a bit of humor, and a bit of warmth. It's pleasant, which isn't something you can say about most anime.

The best way to describe it, "A warm cup of tea, on a cold night."

The makings of an excellent mystery. One of the best anime of the season!
This is the story of Mashiro Aoi meeting of Yagashira Kiyotaka, known as the "Holmes at Teramachi Sanjou" for his deductive powers (referring to Sherlock Holmes). They meet at a antique shop in Kyoto, where "Holmes" is the the son of the shop's owner and works as its manager, while his father travels around the world searching for antiques. Great show, no ending
I fell in love with this show from episode one. It's simple and has a simple story-line, but it's cute and lighthearted. The characters are likable and fun to watch.

Really the only reason I did not give it a 5 was because the show literally did not have an ending. It's like the show cute off halfway through a season. Maybe they'll make another season? I doubt it, but who knows.

    Pretty good and executed nicely
I found this anime quite good. Pretty sad it ended without something happening. You would understand if you finished the anime. The anime can teach you a bit of old antiques in Japan not much but better than nothing. I would watch this over and over on my spare time if I could. I recommend the anime if you can handle the first 2 episodes-ish of boring stuff and finishing it you may crave for more ...

Good for relaxing at home after a hard day
It's a nice little show a new mystery every episode. The main strength of the show lies in the will-they-won't-they dynamic of its two main characters.
It also has some nice views of Kyoto, almost as a hidden commercial for a tourism agency.
It's light. Very light. If you want something with a more engaging plot, with action or drama, this might not be for you.
But if you want a light slice of ...

Ancient heritage, new & astonishing "style"
A soft love story between a young girl and the mysterious young "Holmes-san", mixed with some light crime stories and cases in the wonderful city of kyoto. I just fell in love with the astonishing and beautiful style of drawing, the landscape, little details like the antique artworks in "Holmes"' store and I kinda feel bound to the characters that seem very human. Social Problems along ...

    Unique Concept, Great Characters
Loved this anime. Really interesting and unique story that I haven't seen before. If you're looking for an anime that is solely romance, you will be disappointed; however, it was really easy to fall in love with the characters and the storyline. Very cute and interesting plot.

    Kinda boring to be honest
I started off really liking this show. It had a lot going on, there was all kinds of cool Japanese nick-knacks, some history, Holmsian deductions, and some romantic tension. I was hooked and looking forward to some fun mystery stories with comedy, drama, and romance on the side.

I kinda got that, for a while. But this show started feeling like it was on tranquilizers after a while. I don't ...

    Peaceful, fun anime.
I enjoyed watching this anime. It wasn't anything super different, than the norm, but I enjoyed the talk of arts and the variety of 'antiques' they discussed. I did have a long term frustration with character relationships, but what can you do?

Great recommend for someone looking for a casual show to watch.
