If you are a fan of Sherlock Holmes, with a twist of romance this is the right show for you.
It is very educational in terms of antiques and several Japanese history related. I really like the fact that the MC is very cool, intelligent and highly observant. The animation is definitely A+ as well as the voice acting. With the episode 1, it introduces several main characters and provides an idea about the story. A young and highly talented + skilled lad is currently managing an Antique Shop ...

  • Very intriguing first episode
It is only the first episode but there was some decent character development and the story already has me hooked. I looked into this expecting a detective story but this may turn out better than I hoped. I can't wait to learn more about the Holmes character and the shop itself.

    A Holmsian romance with potential
This is a cute series, with a blend of romance and slice of life, with a semi-mystery cherry on top. The quality of the drawing and animation are fairly average, and the plot doesn't really do anything that will blow you away. But it's still entertaining, and the characters are enjoyable. And really, isn't that what you want most from this type of show?

  • positively surprised at first, but quality of animation got worse
In the first episode the dialogue was interesting, the characters very likable. I loved how "Holmes" explained the Zen master's story to teach Aoi a lesson. It has a nice combination of romance and intelligent story telling.

Unfortunately by episode 3 the quality of animation really deteriorated. The dialogue remained strong though

  • If Sherlock Holmes ran an antique shop
The first episode left a good impression of what promises to be a great show. The two main characters were introduced well with their personalities defined for early in the show (of course, subject to plot twists, that may change).

I hope it stays the course but I could see where Holmes-san always knowing could become annoying.

The makings of an excellent mystery. One of the best anime of the season!
This is the story of Mashiro Aoi meeting of Yagashira Kiyotaka, known as the "Holmes at Teramachi Sanjou" for his deductive powers (referring to Sherlock Holmes). They meet at a antique shop in Kyoto, where "Holmes" is the the son of the shop's owner and works as its manager, while his father travels around the world searching for antiques. A story of antique mysteries that has nothing to do with Sherlock, but has a story quite of it's own instead!
Interesting story, a dab of romance and humour, relaxing but still keeping you entertained - a new fave for me to be sure!
A likeable girl that isn't screaming/ ano-ano-ano-ing (you know what I mean) and a guy who is fun and a little teasing, going into depths solving little antique mysteries. Go on, you know you want to. Grab that cup of tea and come watch!

    Let's see what happens
I will edit this review as more of this anime comes out. This is quite far outside of my demographic when it comes to taste, but i very much recommend it. It has a particularly interesting story with interesting mysteries to be unfolded. Give it a try!

    This Is Not A Shonen
Now that you know it's not a fighting manga for teenage boys, you'll know not to expect it to be that.

It's a slice of life, in a very relaxing atmosphere. It has a bit of romance, a bit of sadness, a bit of humor, and a bit of warmth. It's pleasant, which isn't something you can say about most anime.

The best way to describe it, "A warm cup of tea, on a cold night."

Ancient heritage, new & astonishing "style"
A soft love story between a young girl and the mysterious young "Holmes-san", mixed with some light crime stories and cases in the wonderful city of kyoto. I just fell in love with the astonishing and beautiful style of drawing, the landscape, little details like the antique artworks in "Holmes"' store and I kinda feel bound to the characters that seem very human. Social Problems along ...
