  • A great light/web novel that is let down by the anime
This is in one of my top 10 favorite novel series, but the anime adaptation is terrible. Just as with other adaptations, they try to cram too much into 12 episodes and end up skipping over too much of the character and relationship building.

If you enjoy stories with OP characters, but were turned off by this anime, you should give the light novel a chance...it's worth it.

Show with a bit of everything.
I really enjoyed this show; the characters were likable, and the content was well flushed out. I do hope there will be a second season, to expand the story and fill a few of the plot questions the creators left unanswered. Overall a great show for any anime enthusiast.

I came for the story, I left because of the execution.
I did not read or know about the manga. The title and show seemed interesting, and I was intrigue by the story. After watching a couple of episodes I had my second guesses. People in the comments said the show would get good, and I decided to give it another chance. In the end, I did not enjoy it and I regret wasting my time watching this series.

Generic anime with a dull supporting cast
Nothing new or interesting here. Two dimensional main character with no personality, supporting characters are equally dull. It's hard to find things worth talking about in this show, it has no lasting impact. It's like every masturbatory story written by lonely incels with no concept on how real relationships are formed.

I regret wasting my time on this show. Stylistically it's okay, I think ...

Easy watching, good for when your tired
Compared to the source material this adaption is light and fluffy, not that the source material is particularly serious in the first place. But I wouldn't call it faithful because they skip over a lot of stuff, cut the dark stuff.

A good example would be like the first season of Hayate no gotoku!, compared with the second season which is more faithful to the source manga it too is light and ...

    Overpowered Character and Boring plot
It's fine I guess, the main character is overpowered and everything is too easy. There's nothing that challenges him so it's boring. The idea of dying and then coming back to a fantasy world is tired and overused. 2 stars because it was okay at first, a little interesting but now it's just boring.

Good characters and fun to watch but very "soft" on adventure and romance.
This is a different anime from other "new life" stories (such as Re:Zero and Konosuba) such that the main character is always ahead of the situations, except with the many girls and women he meets. His "softness" or "blandness" is the only weak point in the entire series. The girls are strong and cute, but he is too ignorant and too courteous, giving one the urge to yell at him to react while ...

Trashy, mindless, full of tropes - but it works?
This is one of the dumbest, most unoriginal anime I've ever seen - it takes a recently overused premise of "being transported to another world" and pretty much uses it to replicate every predictable cliche of fantasy harem shows. It also adds a ridiculously overpowered, literally invulnerable protagonist that overcomes every challenge without breaking a sweat, eliminating any possibility of ...

    Im down for another season.
I binged the entire season. It wasn't the most 'epic' of series with plot twists, dark areas, or asking in the matter of philosophical concepts. Instead, it's a harem where connection meets the best of two worlds: the harem comes together, and the comedy is common-sense. -1 Star for not keeping certain aspects of the harem interesting. Everyone knows they can brainstorm better on it.

    You have ...

  • At least 4 stars for Harem fans
There are generally bad words that come to mind to describe this anime like 'generic', while it is generic I found it to be quite entertaining and straightforward for a harem anime.
