Walking Deus Ex Machina without a story
This isn't an overpowered main character, it's a Mary Sue story. God in essence gives him the power of a God, complete and total access to every magic spell in that universe- including unique personal spells with a perfect body and a magic powered cellphone that still has access to our internet.

There is zero conflict, zero drama, zero character. Other people have problems, he walks up and ...

  • Watch KONOSUBA Instead
This show is about as cookie cutter as it gets. Almost as if the writers had a checklist for harem tropes and just made sure to tick all the boxes. Its just so uninspired it gets old pretty much immediately. Its got action but it's not intense or particularly well animated, its comedy is almost entirely comprised of tired, overused tropes, the main character has about as much personality as a ...

4 episodes in and no tension in the plot
I'd forgive this little power-trip of a story if there were some tension in the plot. The only tension to come out of this story so far at all is its cringe-factor. Character development is paper thin: it is appealing on the surface but has no depth. Plot points are solved lickity-split. Meh.

    Basic dose of anime entertainment
Honestly give it a shot, it's obviously not well written, lacking plot and has your typical harem but the art is really good and it's entertaining. It'll make you smile and the smartphone idea grows on you. It's a fun cute pass time kind of show, it's likable if you don't judge it too hard haha

It's a simple laid back anime where everything always works out
    Written as of Episode 4:
Why I keep watching: I'm continuing to watch this series because I found myself enjoying the ridiculousness of how everything always works out and how this is so laid back. This is the first one of this style anime that I've seen so I'm enjoying the dumb plot amusement factor.
    About:
This anime doesn't seem to have a driving plot. It is more of a 'go with the flow' type ...

    In the absence of...
Starting to feel like a cross between Konosuba and SAO. Light and fluffy, but not a cast of complete idiots fumbling around. I was starting to get tired of the onslaught of derpy protagonists that somehow save the day in the end. This one isnt filled with the comedy of Konosuba, and not as grim as SAO, it's about in the middle.

    Harem Anime with No Redemption
After the recent spate of rebirth anime putting the main character in a fantasy world, I was hoping for something nice. Unfortunately, this show is not it. To be frank, most of the story line sounds like it was written by a very young child. The scenes are very disjointed, and the whole feel of the anime has zero continuity beyond the over powered MC. To be flat honest, the lack of character ...

    Ridiculously Overpowered Hero
The ridiculously overpowered hero makes this even worse than it should be as a generic harem anime. The main character is all powerful (and gets even worse in the novels), any noble girl he meets immediately falls in love with him at first sight, and he consistently remains bland and boring as a character.

The only remote saving grace of the show is the super cute tiger kitty. Goooood kitty.

The ending of every lightnovel anime on the first episode.
Summary: Essentially, the beginning is what would happen in every light novel that starts the story with challenges, obstacles, and emotion were to be on their last episode. The character gets everything they could ever want, in the first episode. If you want a character who doesn't develop, and will remain the same guy as he was in episode one, you've found the 12 episode series for you. ...

Cheeky Cheery Fun, a true Joy!
It might not be as deep/dark/edgy as some other shows, but it's by no means bad. If anything this is a welcome breath of fresh air to enjoy every week. Silly and fun and all around very enjoyable.

It's true many things come off too easy, playing to the very Mary Sue nature of the show. But in this case it doesn't really bother me at all. The only true complaint I have so far is that I feel ...
