    relaxing and enjoyable
This animated series was made from a novel that I quite enjoy to be relaxing and fun to read while seeing food that is made and served in this series! It's enjoyable and it would be fun to watch and enjoy if you are looking for something to relax with!

there are some issues and it feels reused
there are some issues with the format of the show, but the premise feels reused as it has been done before with Restaurant to Another World . The idea isn't original, but they did an okay job with remaking the same feel as Restaurant to Another World. i personalty don't recommend the anime, but others may like it.

a food show that's actually informative!
I usually never write reviews because I tend to agree with the overall ratings on here, but I was shocked to see such a low rating for this show. I wouldn't say that it's the best show ever made out there, but it certainly doesn't deserve a low rating! As someone who loves working with food as well as wants to know more about all the japanese food showcased in anime series, this is the series that ...

Restaurant to Another World + Wakakozake = This Anime
I'm two episodes in, and so far this show feels as if it was the child of Restaurant to Another World and Wakakozake (both of which I recommend to people who enjoy this series).

There's something about watching a show about delicious food, and watching people discover it and enjoy it that is strangely relaxing and satisfying.

Read the manga or the LN
tl;dr the source material is great and it came before Isekai Shokudou's, but the anime adaptation is kinda bad

First of all, this is not a copy of A Restaurant to Another World(Isekai Shokudou). The source material for Isekai Izakaya Nobu, the novel, came before Isekai Shokudou's novel.
As for the setting, while it might contain isekai in the name, there's no fantasy elements. Izakaya Nobu, a ...

Another foodie anime for the win!
Oh I can't believe this is out! *squees internally so as not to scare co-workers* Oh but I loved the manga and from what I've seen, this will be a firm favourite as well! Oooh not to be watched while hungry!
Look I am weak, I love food related anime, from Graffiti girl to Ramen Daisuki, if it features food, it already has my attention! So this would probably get 3 stars right off the bat. Ah I do ...

    Presentation ruins the experience
It doesn't really matter how good or bad this anime is, it's presented with a banner constantly across the top, reminding you of what episode you're watching. Even if I were a child, I'd know what episode I was on. The banner only goes away for the cooking segment at the end, and for me, completely destroys any positive experience. Isekai Shokudō (Restaurant to Another world) did everything ...

    Great Story, Terrible Production
I am actively reading the novel and manga, and I can say, this anime adaptation is a disappointment; for two reasons.

One, the pointless banner at the top throughout the episode. I don't ever recall seeing other shows using such a bad idea. It flat out breaks immersion, which would be one of this shows selling points.

Two, on the topic of immersion, while the cooking segment at the end is ...

    A great gourmet anime
It teaches you recipes at the end of each episode. I don't understand why so many people are hating on it. The concept is similar to Restaurant to another world. If you are into Japanese culture or Japanese food it is worth watching. I've never watched the manga but based only on the Anime it is fun to watch

    Fun but Not Presented Well
I really enjoy the manga and this seems like a solid beat for beat remake. But it's hard to feel like you're relaxing in an izakaya when there's text constantly crowding out the screen. Do we really need a banner at the top telling us which episode it is? How about giant bubble text at the bottom to emphasize what the characters are saying? It probably looked fine in the original Japanese airing ...
