You know you’ve just finished a great TV anime series when it leaves you with a teardrop in your eye. Japanese ranking website Goo Rankings polled 4,012 people in September 2020 on what final episode of a TV anime series left the viewer with a deep impression of the series and made them tear up at the end, with some surprising results near the top!

As per the usual note, this isn't Crunchyroll's ranking and we didn't have any input on the results, we're just as interested in what others think as you are! Nevertheless, grab your tissues, cause here's the Top 10!

Just as the music ramps up, everyone is looking wistfully into the sky, and reminiscing over what has just occurred throughout their TV anime journey, and the tears start pouring out of everyone’s–including the viewers–eyes.

So Crunchies, what final episode of a TV anime series made you cut onions? Let us know down in the comments below! For me, it was Anohana.
