If you're itchin' to see what Ichigo and co. are up to next on the screen, you'll be able to catch the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War anime early at New York Comic-Con. This year's event announced plans to screen the North American premiere ahead of the simulcast debut along with some other fun plans to celebrate the return of Tite Kubo's series. 

The NYCC Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War premiere is set for Saturday, October 8 at 2:15pm local time.

In addition to the premiere, fans can look forward to special messages and a cosplay contest with prizes. Stay tuned for more as we get closer to the event, and look for the long-awaited new Bleach anime to debut this October.

• Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Äs Nödt

• Takaya Hashi as Robert Accutrone
• Nobuaki Kanemitsu as Driscoll Berci
• Yasuhiro Mamiya as Mask De Masculine
• Tomoaki Maeno as NaNaNa Najahkoop

Directing Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will be Tomohisa Taguchi at Studio Pierrot, with Taguchi also writing the series composition, Masashi Kudo returning to design the characters, and Shiro Sagisu returning to do the music.

Crunchyroll is streaming the original Bleach series in its entirety, describing it as such:

BLEACH follows the story of Ichigo Kurosaki. When Ichigo meets Rukia he finds his life is changed forever.

New York Comic-Con 2022 is being held October 6-9 at the Javits Center in New York City.
