Short Form Web Anime Space Idol Blasts Off in January of 2023
6 episode original series about intergalactic idols will stream in Japan on DMM TV
Pop music will conquer the galaxy in Space Idol, a newly announced short form web anime about a four member intergalactic idol group. The main staff has been revealed for the series, including:
- Series composition, screenplay: Udai Iwasaki (Kamomental)
- Director: Kenji Itoso
- Character design: Yuki Moriyama
- Animation production: KENJI STUDIO, REGARO
- Music: Yoshida Ichiro Untouchable World
The cast of Space Idol includes:
- Ecchan voiced by Kaede Hondo.
- Sapphy voiced by Fairouz Ai.
- Rokko voiced Azusa Tadokoro.
- And Moffuan voiced by Azumi Waki.
Space Idol is a slapstick comedy that follows the misadventures of Uchuu Seifuku, a four person idol group composed of: Ecchan, the hot-blooded leader; Sapphy, a scatter-brained philanthropist; Rokko, an airheaded reptilian; and Moffuan, a gloomy but extremely fluffy monster. The 6 episode series will stream in Japan on the DMM TV website beginning at 24:00 on Thursday, January 26, 2023.
