    A Gun Shooting Blanks
The art style is very nice, the premise is interesting, the setup for each character is great...

But then they die and that's that.

With the Ox sure that was a interesting twist, setup what could be a main character but have them killed off to increase the tension. It's great when it happens once or twice.

But this is all this show is, give an interesting backstory for the character of ...

Enjoyable, but showing too much of it's hand.
Up to episode 3, Juni Taisen offers a somewhat predictable take on the battle royale format that manages to be fun and engaging...so far. While the somewhat rough art lends itself to some great animation, the show's greatest weakness is its format and pacing. Each episode takes the perspective of a new character, and unfortunately whoever put together the ED thought it'd be a great idea to spoil ...

  • Battle Royal/Philosophical War.
I can certainly say that watching Juni Taisen, I wasn't expecting that great an evolution. To say the least I was impressed.

The story had its own quirkiness but wasn't bad at all. In my POV nearly all battles had interesting outcomes.
What I really liked about the show was it's unique approach to battles. Someone looking for an action battle series might argue that but as for me, the battles ...

  • Decent Idea, Poor Execution
This show does almost everything in it's power to make itself unlikable. The introduction to the idea is poor, you're given no attachment to any characters until 80% of the way through the show, and there is no such thing as character development beyond introduction except in the case of maybe two or three. The show redeems itself with actual near-interesting and developing story for the last ...

  • Completely Wasted Potential
In an anime with so many interesting characters and ideas interacting, you would expect real character development, or maybe some philosophical discourse. Instead, the show provides you with an idea, a lifestyle, a background, a history, only to have it erased immediately. A pattern that I noticed very early was that the moment a character's circumstances are given to you by the show, the ...

  • Good and Disappointing at the Same Time
It just wasn't the same after the first episode. I was actually hoping we'd follow around the Boar, she seemed like a really interesting character. The series had sort of a set potential (idk how to explain it). There wasn't much thought for it, it was just... the way it is.

  • Orginal, drama, action, philosophical 5 stars!!!
Well this anime has a lot of both good reviews and bad ones, by the time I am writing this review the average score of this anime is 3.2 which I totally disagree. The viewers always complain that there are not original stories in the anime anymore. Well if you have felt this away this is your chance, Juni Taisen has a very original plot, each character represents a philosophical and psychological ...

  • This is such an amazing show!!!
i know a lot of people are giving this a poor rating, but they are the same people that touch stuff when told its hot, or are the reasons for putting caution labels on everything.

this show has a downside, its like the hunger games or a battle royal, know this from the start you might like one of the Fighters more then another, but not all can survive, so take that with a grain of salt and ...

  • Totally worth watching
Even while the events in the show are predictable, every episode is exciting!
The music is awesome and gives you the creeps at the best times possible.
I loved the character introspections and the variety of backgrounds they had.
I just wish it was longer.
