Juni Taisen -- If Fate/Stay night was written by Nisio Isin (Updated episode 3)
Juni Taisen at the surface level is a fairly interesting Shounen arena style anime in the vein of the popular Fate/Stay Night series. However, if you look a little closer at what is being presented here as well as how it is being presented, you start to see how Juni Taisen will diverge from the typical battle arena formula.

The first thing that really drew my attention towards this series ...

    First Episode Temp Review
Right off the bat you can see that it's quite detailed, the animations are smooth and fluid whether people are talking casually or killdancing around trying to murder something.
The plot is simple in basis - Killing Game, free for all style in an abandoned city.
The participants aren't just the usual normals though, it animes it up by making them all based on the Zodiac (hence the name of the ...

    SICKK from the beginning ..
As a fan of Fate/Zero I can see the simalarities but there are major differences as well. Just from watching the first episode I am already hooked ! This first episode was sick from beginning until the end ! The animation is amazing and I am excited to see how this zodiac war plays out.

Possibly the worst anime I've watched
The concept of Juni Taisen is great and imaginative - embodiments of the Chinese Zodiac, fighting each other in a Battle Royale. It sounds like it should be fun, so where did it go wrong for me?

Juni Taisen prides itself on its distinct premise and art style, lending itself an anime that proclaims its difference without trying. However, just as these are it's greatest selling points, they are ...

    A fascinating story.
    I rather enjoyed this.
Gruesome, backstories, and a decent plot. Fight scenes are quite superb as well.
I also was quite keen on some of the character development and the all-around story of each individual character. It's the little things that make the experience fantastic.

This anime is a roll-a-coaster, not a marathon
Who said that every anime has to be 800 episodes long?
Sometimes good things come in small packages, and Juni Taisen is aiming for that goal.
It is like Game of Thrones on speed - every character is compelling, but we know 11 out of 12 are going to die, so why drag it out?

    Only the strong survives
This is a hard watch in a good way. If you're looking for something more intense and mature in the style of Attack on Titan, look no further. The animation is second to none and the great pacing makes every episode feel like it's an hour long right before the climax leaves you anticipating next week's episode. Highly recommended.

We will see how this plays out.
[4/5] *Careful for the first three episode spoilers!* I know a lot of people have been comparing this to Fate/Stay and I get it, but in its own way it is a little bit different. The route this show has been following is closer to Akame Ga Kils way of killing off characters. They will introduce a warrior in the Zodiac Tournament thing and bring some character development into it, then in some ...

    Potential is there...
With all honesty it took me about one full episode and a little bit to get into this. It wasn't until I saw Rooster's episode that I truly became curious about what kind of hidden talents the other members may have. Rooster's talent was rather impressive. I am still unclear about how far Monkey and Rat's alliance will go but the only thing I would appreciate in this series would be a bit of a ...

Solid Opening, New Favorite Fall Anime?
Just to start, if you prefer to watch a story involving more in depth connections to characters, a main character, no questionable morals, and zero high quality violence, this is not for you. This show is a Battle Royale anime involving Zodiac families fighting each other to become number one. You might have a favorite you want to see succeed, but don't wish too hard, because they might die. ...
