  • I was not expecting to fall for this anime, but I have.
Wow. I'm really impressed after just one episode. It's like all the magic and wonder of older anime wrapped up with a shiny new bow. Some Miyazaki influenced setting, a FLCL imaginative vibe, and story and dialog all its own. The animation is elastic, flexible, flowing, and a joy to watch. It feels like I'm watching a Ghibli story. Solid Five Stars.

  • Excellent character design
I absolutely adore the character design. It's been a long time since I've seen characters that immediately seemed so human. Very refreshing to have anime characters that look like people.
Aside from visual style, while the plot didn't exactly set itself up yet, I was content without it, despite this being the first episode. I think that's probably because it sets the stage for each character's ...

Story- amazing original. Animation- not my fav, Sticks figures, colored outside and awkward design
I definitely think the story is cute and original. However the praise this animation is getting has to be a joke.. I mean if you like it by all means say that's your type. But being the best out there is just plain bias since is about something you once dreamed of...

Still would recommend someone give it a go.
Although I rated this on the low side, I would still recommend anyone give the first 1-2 episodes a go. It is a nice concept, good story idea and shows some interesting art but for me, the pace and such was just not for me.

Again, though I didn't find it interesting enough to stick with, it is still an anime I think everyone should give a go just in case.

Anime About Making Anime, But Also Unleashing Your Imagination
I wasn't sure what to think of this anime when it popped up, but I decided to give it a chance. I was pleasantly surprised. The concept of the anime reminds me a bit of Anime-Gataris, but with the sporadic energy of Asobi Asobase.

The story itself centers around Midori Asakusa, a first year in high school, and her two best friends, Sayaka and Tsubame. Midori and her friends live in this layered ...

This is going to be legendary!
Gonna call it -- this anime is going to be a legend. Story follows a group of high school girls with a dream of creating a full length animated film. The viewer is struck with a clever and colorful presentation with extraordinary imagination on top of imagination. This one will go big!

Is there an environmental message in Eizouken
Love this show! I'm also getting a bit of Kemono Friends environmental vibe: while Kemono is post-apocalyptic, Eizouken seems to be on the doorstep of a coming apocalypse. In addition to the obvious deteriorating climate and raising ocean, there are lot of black, brown, or Pacific islander races in the student body. Perhaps they are environmental refugees? May be that's why Ep. 1 referenced ...

If you love Anime, you will like this show
For an anime about the finest details of sakuga, this anime is utterly devoid of it. But I think that's its charm. The parts where we would expect to see the greatest detail and quality are the parts where it gets the sketchiest and most amateurish. This seems to be fully intentional. In doing so, it transports us into the zany creative trajectory of these adorable girls who are tossing ideas ...

The wonders of creativity and imagination.
I throughly enjoyed watching the first 2 episodes. This series doesn't really stick to the usual format of other what you'd expect to see in 99% of other anime. It's really unique in it's style and art, with it's washed watercolour backgrounds. It's so refreshing to see something done so differently, but it really works in favour of this show. Following the story of the 3 schoolgirls, whose ...
