What you have instead is a show packed so full of overused anime clichés and tropes, you'd initially swear it was shooting for parody. Nope, I don't think so. It's really just that bad. The setting makes no sense, the characters are one dimensional, the jokes fall flat, the voice acting is uninspired, and the fan service seems forced and overly ubiquitous: near constant panty shots, girls seen in various states of undress throughout, a yuri scene thrown in for no reason except for the main character to walk in on it, and so on.
I don't mind shallow, mindless fan service laden comedies, nor am I overly prudish. Those shows can be fun and entertaining in reasonable doses - the junk food of anime, if you will. But even junk food is less than enjoyable if it gets too stale, or you eat too much of it.
The production values of the show don't seem terrible, and the characters, while flat in personality if not physically, are at least not overly annoying. It might be worth a watch if you've got nothing better to do, or if you just want to see how many panty shots can fit into a single 24-minute show.
