A swift continuation of "Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei," second season "Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei" plays host to the same fast-paced, off-the-wall sense of humour that made the first season's title infamous. Chronically negative and paranoid, Nozomu Itoshiki Sensei continues his adventures through the psychological dysfunctionality of his class.
While retaining the same plotline and story patterns of the first season, ZSZS manages to worm in a few manga extras -side storylines that are easily distinguished by an abrupt shift in art style and seemingly connectionless developments.
Both seasons follow the original manga storyline and script almost to a tee.
