Wow.. I was just talking to someone about wanting to know more about Waver Velvet after watching Fate/zero and Stay night, where the end scene is Shirou talking to him on the Clock tower hall way.. and here we are. What a fun show to binge with a great team of character. I couldn't even hate on Lady El-Molloi cause she is .. while bitchy.. is adorable. Love Gray, as well! I hope there's a second ...

  • Sherlock Holmes meets murky mage politics.
This is an absolutely riveting exploration of the world of Fate that's not in the midst of a Holy Grail War. The series follows Waver Velvet, who has taken on the mantle of Lord El-Melloi II, years after the events of Fate: Zero. He is haunted by the memories of the Holy Grail War, and he endeavors to be true to himself amidst the sociopathic world of mages.

Great insight to the Fate universe
This is a grand sequel to the Fate/Zero series and is set around the time of Fate UBW. It follows Waver as an accomplished professor at the famous Clock Tower. As the title suggest, this is a detective/action series set in the Fate universe. I found it highly entertaining with a great cast of characters. I highly recommend this for people who like the Fate series, the detective genre, and ...

For a real Fate Fan, this is Gold!!!
Finally Waver Velvet, the best Fate master gets it's own anime spinn-off
Alexander would be proud of him, can't wait them to reunite, it would be epic.
    Amazing!!!

Recommended but be prepared to be lost in detail
Big fan of the Fate series. Was especially excited to hear about an anime with my favorite servant's master, Waver. Never will I forget the bridge scene. I was expecting great things from the show based on that premise alone. It delivered in certain aspects. Its animation was amazing as per usual with Fate series, but i found myself sometimes getting confused what the characters were referencing ...

The Best of the Fate series.
A sleeper sequel to Fate/ Zero, this anime turned out to be one of the strongest in the franchise. Definitely watch Fate/ Zero (also fantastic) before you watch this. Compelling characters and interesting magical mysteries expand the main Fate universe and the world of the Mages' Association.

There are references to other Fate stories, but those are non-canon in the main universe and the ...

    Imperfect, yet cute and entertaining.
This is the sort of spin-off I was looking for. It doesn't have a complex story, but it's highly enjoyable. It's perfect for fans of the Fate franchise which have been in touch with other stuff from the Nasuverse, such as Tsukihime and The Garden of Sinners.
There are a couple of things I didn't like, as I think they don't truly fit into the Fate style. Firstly, sometimes magic is depicted as ...

The plot is good, lots of funny moments, intense moment, soundtrack is nice and the voice actors are great, especially Gray, animation are great.
Hope they make a second season, and if you like the series, the series also have light novels currently still going

    Something New For Me!
I had never really watched an anime like this before. I appreciated the intelligence and weaknesses of Lord El-Melloi II, and his reliance on his students, who obviously love him for who he is. I also appreciate the degree magic is used, it's not flat out ridiculous like other anime, which makes it feel like the characters have their own special gifts and abilities, rather than the ...

    Fate Zero + CSI London
Ever wondered what happened to Waver after Fate Zero. Honestly, You don't even need to be a fate fan or have watched the fate series to enjoy this series in a nutshell its basically a CSI London with magic where they solve a murder mystery every-week with Waver Velvet who is no longer a wimpy kid but now rocks a bad ass set of hair and a cigar as a new Sherlock Holmes of the Holy Grail war
