Downton Abbey meets Hogwarts in this Fate/Zero Sequel.
Prepare for a lecture in this last minute addition to Crunchyroll's roster. The pilot episode is bursting with essay, though somehow manages to include other elements of previous fate series. Swirling plots and dark curses abound in this magic school series.
Waver Velvet, Iskandar's side kick, returns to teach young mages in this most recent Fate spin off. Teaching includes more than planning ...

I think it had a pretty promising episode zero
I never saw this anime coming, so I was pleasantly surprised to see it listed.

It shows a more well-rounded picture of Adult Waver Velvet (El-Melloi II) that actually corresponds well to the younger man seen in Fate/Zero, but also glimpsed in other works like Apocrypha.

We also see much more of the Clocktower, where Mages in the Fate universe congregate in a community, and this was something ...

Promising spin-off. For a fan that is.
So far so good. This series is not about fate or holy grail war. It's simply a side story about how the world of mages outside of the holy grail war works. Only watch if you're really into type-moon verse in general. Not for casual viewer and certainly not for people who only watch fate/zero and hope this is some more Fate.

    Great New Addition to Nasuverse
This is a very accurate representation of the world of mages in the Nasuverse, for people who are familiar with the actual light novels, or are familiar with the idea of magic as a whole within the Nasuverse, this series is great, it gives us a very clear visualization of the Mages Association (AKA the Clock Tower) within the Nasuverse, its inner strife and other nuances through the eyes of one of ...

Modern Magic and Good, Old-Fashioned Intrigue!
OK, not being intimately familiar with the larger franchise, I had to make sure when I thought that I recognized this as part of the Fate family. Seems I was correct on that point. But this story, which follows a professor of modern magecraft as he navigates the duties and treachery of the Clock Tower, stands firmly on its own. The artwork is beautiful, the characterization is quietly ...

    Review based on Episode 0
    First Impression:

Huh, this seems....oh it is, isn't it? Yeap its based off the lore from the fate series. One of my favorite and especially excited to come across this early episode.

    Summary:

I would normally rate such an in depth show a 5 out of 5, but the reason I gave it a 4 is simply because it doesn't set up the introduction well or give us any basis or guideliens of what exactly ...

    This is important stuff.
It's Fate, it's awesome. Five stars. No question. Even if you don't already love the stories of magic users searching for the Swirl of the Root, there's a lot to tip you off that this is a special anime. Look at the beautiful overcast London atmosphere. The tense political intrigue and strong personalities of the Clock Tower magi. The fantastic magic grounded in a logical mysticism. The subtle ...

This is a link to the original story.
    - link: https://www.crunchyroll.com/fatezero. This is a continuation of that story. This link will take you there immediately! This is the story of Lord El-Melloi II, one of the twelve Lords that reside at the Clock Tower, one of the very few who participated in the Fourth Holy Grail War held in the Far East to actually survive the experience. He has an apprentice, Gray. She carries ...

    about time something like this
i'm a huge lazy type moon fan, which means i loved fate zero, i'm familiar with stay and some other things like kara no kyoukai etc.. i just read an article on this site about how confusing type moon can be for american fans, we don't have access to all the audio shows, novels, games.. this show is the solution.. i was skeptical after seeing episode 0 but now seeing 1 i understand.. 0 was to ...

Yo this is HYPE. A perfect continuation of Waver's Fate/Zero arc!
Just watched ep 1. H. Y. P. E. The tone is spot on Fate/Zero Waver. I'm actually loving the animation by Troyca (instead of ufotable) which gives it a unique atmosphere that matches the setting perfectly. Also there are awesome nods to TYPE/MOON Lore! Lastly... as always... Yuki Kajiura's music fills my heart with joy. 5/5 would recommend
