Echii Anime Not on Same Level as HSDXD.
Its got plenty of fan service and some decent action I didn't like the main male to much he's to goofy and clique and this has a harem aspect to it also its like the makers of this took every thing from a lot of other echii anime's and decided to copy them so not a lot of original material here but I will say they did an adequate job of it presenting it. If your a fan of anime like this i would ...

    Nothing good about it.
I thought for a couple of episodes it was going to be good, but very soon realizing that I was wrong it seemed that the writers had no idea what they wanted this to be other then some fan service with dumb cliches in it . The main character was someone that I just couldn't get into at some points he was ok but that was in maybe one episode, I would have to say that this is not something I ...

  • Fanservice, fanservice, fanservice
Don't expect much going into the series. This is a harem anime with fan service and that's all you are going to get.

  • You are watching a Harem anime.
Not going to sit here and tell you this anime is great, that would be a lie, but Maken-Ki is so stupid it is funny which goes a long way for a Harem anime.
Takeru is par for the course in anime; He claims he wants to be with girls then runs from any action. In his defense let me run down his Harem for you:

Maken Ki perfectly accomplished what 20+ Communist governments could not: Total Revolution.
I was deeply touched by this anime. It perfectly expresses the camaraderie of Revolution against the capitalist-bourgeoisie classes. Das Kapital said it best, "Big tittle anime is ;;))) kawaiiiiiiii".

  • Insufferable characters.
I enjoy my fare share of Ecchi and harem anime's, but I couldn't finish this one. I powered through till Ep. 6 when I finally decided I couldn't stand watching these terrible characters with worse personalities any more. One expects a level of cliche in this genre but this anime seems to take joy in making cliche characters much worse than they have to be.
