    This was a bit disappointing
I feel SHAFT kinda butchered it. I've been keeping up with the manga, and absolutely love the Kagerou Project, but this was disappointing. It didn't explain much at all, and I was really hoping it would. Also, it went right to Summertime Record (the good end), only alluding to Outer Science and route xx (the bad end), and it failed to make Kuroha (Dark Konoha) very menacing. I feel the series ...

Good; but you definitely need some of the source material to get it
I watched this show dry, I had never seen any of the light novels; nor was I aware that it was based on songs. The first 6 episodes or so made sense to me as a casual viewer, but then things started picking up & I was having a hard time following it. Once I started listening to the songs and reading bits of the novels, it made more sense.

With that being said, it's a really well done show with ...

    A total disappointment
Mekakucity Actors had so much potential to be great. It had fun and likable characters with an incredible cast of seiyuu such as Mamoru Miyano, Kana Hanazawa, Kana Asumi, Keiji Fujiwara, etc. It had an interesting premise to the story, which is based on the stories told in the vocaloid songs written by the artist Jin in his album Kagerou Project, which tells the story of the eponymous ...

    Mekakucity Actors <3
While at first I found this story rather confusing, the more I watched it, the more I fell in love. The characters are unique and lovable and the plot is complex and interesting. As the story goes on, the relationships between the seemingly separate plot lines become increasingly apparent. I can't wait to see where the story will go!

A great series, for beginner and long-term fans alike!
Mekakucity Actors, formly known as Kagerou project is based on songs and light novels produced by Jin. Please don't judge the series by the first few episodes, I know it can be confusing, but this series is one that makes is suppose to make you think. It has a deep plot and is fairly complicated, and the way shaft animates it, it makes it confusing even for long time fans of the series. If anyone ...

    Amazingly Well Done!
This anime has been hugely anticipated because of the song series, Kagerou Daze by Jin and sung by IA, which, I might add, is also absolutely amazing. I'm not a huge Shaft person, but this series is exactly up to my expectations, which, coming from a diehard Kagerou Project fan, were very very high ones. The first two episodes are slightly confusing if you haven't read the manga or listened to the ...

Most Uncertain First 2 Episodes Ever....and then it happens
I've really got to admit, the art/ animation and music were always good but the story was SO confusing for the first two episodes. It was almost a Kill la Kill repeat for me in which I just wanted to stop watching but I decided to at least give it 5 episodes before I dropped the anime (have never read the original manga).

That third episode. THAT THIRD EPISODE CHANGED EVERYTHING. I'm still ...

    Truly a surprise for me!
To be honest, at first I wasn't very sure of this anime because I was so confused for the first two episodes but after the third episode I totally understand everything and is probably gonna one of my favorites for this season. If you read this review, I highly recommend this because it's actually MIND BLOWING.

I have long awaited for this!
If you have read the manga series, you'll definitely understand why I have been waiting for this for so long. I have been a big fan of Vocaloid songs ( including some of the songs for Kagerou Project. ) Although the anime has only one episode to have came out so far, I cannot wait to see how this anime will continue. I personally did enjoy the way they started it off though, with so many things ...

Don't Judge it by the Cover
Much like Hunter X Hunter, this is an anime that you simply can't judge by reading the synopsis and/or looking at the cover. If you've looked into the project before (Kagerou "Heat Haze" Project), then you know exactly what you're in for- a bunch of crazy, dark intertwining storylines that bring our protagonists together. Each character has a back story, none of which happen to be "happy-go-lucky" ...
