Supernatural decetive/peace maker on the case.
Written at episode 1, will update over the course of the season.

Right from the first episode this looks to be very interesting to me. The concept of a occult peace keeping service that operates at night is not a new concept, but their spin on it looks to have potential. I'm hopeful that it will live up to my expectations.

Arata Miyako looks like a fresh recruit at first, with little to ...

    Youkai Intervention!
Based upon the first episode, I'd call this the public servant version of The Morose Mononokean: young guy takes job dealing with various Youkai and their interactions with humans and each other. Difference being, this is a government job, complete with multiple coworkers and policies. As in TMM, our protagonist discovers a talent for not just seeing Youkai, but also for ...

    Extremely boring, no personality.
This show is like eating stale bread and it's not going to get any better. After watching what's available so far i'm not going to continue, the characters are dusty blankets and the attempts at endearment are a huge miss. I see no reason to keep watching this.

I really like it, one of the best of the season
I liked the first 2 episodes. Probably the second best of the season (after the "Fruits Basket" It doesn't have the annoying fan-service and harem attributes of many anime. It's fast paced with new subplots introduced often. The art is pretty good. No complaints so far.

    Setting so far has been..
..one of the best parts, its still early, and no i havent read any material, just watched the anime. I really like the fact that it seems to be building up to something that would hopefully pay off with the fact that the world is not as it seems, and that there is far more going on than we humans can typically imagine. Also giant angle titties

    a fascinating story involving folkslore
The show is quite intriguing and has a good narative that hooks you from the first video.
However the involvement of all the folkslore is pretty broad and in between the names of all the different beings and the characters is little time to reme, ber them which causes minor cunfusion if you don't have any knowledge about this old stories.
This does mean it might come in handy to know japanese ...

The Most Interesting Premise This Season
Shield Hero and Dororo are still airing, so we still have those to look forward to, but this season really doesn't seem to have anything but rom coms and cute stuff going on. The premise of this show was really the only one that actually grabbed my attention. Unfortunately, The art is really bad, the characters are extremely boring, and it really did nothing to grab my attention in the first ...

    This show is absolutely amazing!
I'm four episodes in and I'm loving it but there are a couple of things that they could use a bit of work.

I don't particularly care for the current relationship between Miyako and Kohaku. I'm hoping that it gets better and that the chemistry improves. I'm not talking about romantic chemistry either. I can tell that that relationship is going somewhere but I can't tell if it's friends or ...

Fascinating Premise, Little Dry on Execution
~Review written as of episode 3~

This show certainly isn't the first to capitalize on the idea that supernatural creatures live parallel to our own. What this show does, however, do a little differently is looking at things through a Japanese bureaucratic lens. Yokai (a type of mythological creature-genre that bears similarities to many Western fantasy elements, but contain a sort of ...

    Different and Fun to Watch
I've watched a lot of anime and a lot of anime about non-human characters, but I have yet to watch another one similar to this one (Yes, they probably do exist). I find the show very entertaining and fun to watch. I love the mystery aspect of it too. If you're looking for something different, fun, and relaxing to watch, I would recommend this 10/10!
