    Flat story that encourages creepery
I’m fond of various cooking and eating anime, but this one fell very, very flat to me. Koizumi-san enjoys her ramen, and she can discuss the topic in depth when asked about it. That’s the best part of the entire first episode. It’s the sole redeeming quality in the storyline.

Koizumi-san being the crush object of one of her classmates in her new school, a girl who refuses to take No for ...

    Like the food but...
I really like watching food animes, and normally there are things that I can ignore about the characters or story like erotic food reactions. The characters are predictable, and the story is boring. It is also really creepy how the main character is a yandere. It doesn't add to the story or food. It actually puts me off from the show really badly, but I keep watching because I like ramen. It would ...

    Flat and bland tasting anime
Ms. Koizumi Loves Ramen Noodles is a story that goes nowhere. What you see in the first episode is exactly what you get in the final episode. There's essentially zero plot, which is fine in some circumstances, but there's also zero character development as well. The situation holds up reasonably well for a few episodes, but after that, you're longing to see something different.

    Worse, the ...

    Strong ramen smell coming out....
    This review is correct.

What can I say. Ms. Koizumi really does love ramen. If you are the least bit hungry watching this show you will come out with severe stomach hunger. And a strong curiosity of ramen if you've never had it. I laugh and it makes me feel good. That's all you need to know. Thumbs up.

The love of food and its knowledge
First things first, I honestly believe you have to love food to enjoy any show that focuses on how great a specific type of food is. I've honestly made it my goal to watch any anime or live action with a food enthusiast as its main.

Compared to the others I have watched the underlying story line can be iffy, which is why I give it 4 stars.

However, the live action of this show is definitely ...

For a tiny niche of ramen otaku?
This anime is about what it says it's about. And not much else. Drawing and animation quality is decent. The characters all follow well established archetypes, primarily following Koizumi (the antisocial ramen otaku), and her tomboy classmate who has a crush on her and refuses to be daunted by her rejection.

I could see this anime working for someone who is really passionate about ramen. I ...

Not great, really. Lack of good characters
There isn't any growth or characterization for anyone. It's the same thing every episode. The only interesting thing is that it teaches you about ramen, but as a ramen chef myself, I already knew everything it had to teach.

There wasn't a lot of good emotion from anyone, and the CV is just plain and average, no one is outstanding. That said, the food porn is pretty good.

4 Stars, but not that bad
It's weird that I actually enjoyed this for what it is, but the title and anime poster largely says it all.
After watching the anime, if you like:
    * Ms. Koizumi and the character interactions with her
    * Ramen
    * The characters slurping on ramen

Then I find that you are likely to continue to enjoy this show.

I'm personally completely satisfied with the fact there isn't a complete ...
