Enchanting world. Stunning artwork. Amazing sound.
This is a very difficult anime to describe. It's unlike anything I've ever seen, and I love every episode.

The pace of the story development and exploration of the world is perfect. I'm somehow on the edge of my seat not from sheer suspense, but from wanting to know more about the world. There are shots several seconds long showing a tree, or stars, with music or narration that are some of the ...

One of the most memorable anime in recent times.
I don't I've ever come across an individual who has seen Mushishi and not fallen in love. The series falls in suit with anime like Natsume Yuujinchou and Mononoke, dealing with supernatural creatures that few can see, but are often loathed by those that can. Mushishi, however, diverges from the norm and creates it's own set of mysterious beings, rather than drawing from the unending pool of ...

    X-files The unique anime
This anime is a master piece !
The art and the effects are all awesome, you just sit, relax and enjoy a different story every episode. The music sounds great and works well with the unique world of Mushi-shi. It's calm yet so interesting and keeps pulling you for more. Each episode feels like a good ending to a great movie. Give it a shot and you'll see what I mean.

    MUSHISHI Is Truly A Masterpiece
The episodes are well written and beautifully expressed. Even though most of the stories are independent of one another each one leaves an impact on you!

It's riveting because of the mystery. There is a shudder, because of the otherworldly mushi. It's heart wrenching, because of the certain scenarios the characters go through. There is even a sense of optimism because of the hope that an ...

Subtlety? Come on in. Action packed? Next block down...
Well I'll say it now: If you're looking for an anime full of suspenseful story-arcs, fanservice, and intensely animated action scenes with guns and swords and people getting their heads chopped off, this anime is so not for you. It's also not something you want to show to your friends at a sleepover, unless you want all of them to fall asleep.
Mushi-shi is a beautiful anime that somewhat builds ...

Possibly the best Script writing in anime.
Mushishi is one of those anime that comes every decade to blow the audiences expectations. Every episode feels fresh and it leaves you wanting for more. I have watched almost every anime that has been aired since Dragon Ball( For real). I have seen the best and the worst of anime in the history, because of that I can tell that mushishi is certainly one of the best out there.

Beautiful and deep for those who are willing to listen
Stand alone stories for the most part. If you ever thought to yourself that life was wondrous, surreal, beautiful, majestic, mysterious, etc, then this is a show for you. A true artist/author can tell truths through fiction. Every story that these writers have shared has been a precious memory to me

    Spectacular and spiritual.
This series is held extremely close to my heart. It resonates with a part of myself that I could only otherwise imagine achieving through meditation. Each episode follows the protagonist, Ginkgo, as he teaches people how to live in harmony with creatures akin to spirits. It is perhaps the closest anime series that could find a home amidst Hayao Miyazaki's masterpieces of film.

    Deep Feels for everyone...
Mushi-Shi follows Ginko as he travels from village to village acting the part of a wandering medicine man of sorts. Ginko is rarely the focal point of the story; rather, he acts as an information narrator, providing background & flavor to the various invisible mushi encountered, their abilities, & roughly how to avoid them. Each episode is another story so they can be watched in almost any order. ...

    Artful and well-written anime
This anime is really well written. The stories are artful and poetic and even when things don't work out there's a peacefulness about it. I look forward to each episode. I really like the main character, Ginko. I also like the way nature and humans are connected in each story. I think in our computerized, electric, concrete world we forget that we are organic and part of nature.
