  • hell yea. something different and beautiful and melancholic at the same time
oh yes, where do i even start. everything is perfect in this anime. the soundtrack, the art, the characters, story line, humor mixed with supernatural tales. I love how this anime is deep and thoughtful yet so peaceful and sometimes extremely poignant. because every episode is done in such an artful way, you kind of have to savor each episode slowly and not binge watch it. I find myself loving ...

  • Breathtakingly Beautiful
Mushi-shi is an absolutely gorgeous anime! Became a quick favourite! It's very abstract in depiction, which only enhances the artistic aspect of the series! It is Undoubtedly a subjective piece, but nevertheless it inherits everything which it stands for - the beauty in the passing of time itself, and not necessarily asking questions along the way. Mushi-shi is true art and expression and it ...

  • A Captivating anime.
Anyone could get lost in the world that Yuki created. As a Detective fiction anime its top in its class. You never know what the next episode is going to be and you can see just how much thought went into this world. It is a very unique anime and the visuals are stunning. Ginko is a very interesting and likable character with a mystery about him that makes you want to know more about his life and ...

  • Mushishi is amazing!
Easily one of my favorite anime titles. The music, sound, story, etc. is all amazing. Bought the first season, still waiting on the release of the second (this is the second season Funimation has the first season). Although I find this one of the best anime ever, it is an acquired taste, it certainly isn't for everyone.

  • A Show Full of Great Human Stories.
This is a great show. It is a calm respite from the frenetic pace of some of the more popular anime available on CR.
The stories are beautiful, full of human emotion and folly. Getting to "meet" the different characters in each episode was one of the aspects of the show that I really enjoyed. It was amazing that no matter what the characters did, or experienced, the writers managed to present ...

  • Unique, artistic, and original
It was the first anime I ever got truly immersed in, years ago. I still discuss the series with friends and re-watch it yearly. Absolutely my favorite. It is gently profound, relaxing whilst slightly unsettling. I haven't found any other anime that can even get close to how much I love it.

  • Unlike Any Other Anime
MUSHI-SHI is one of the best-acted, lovingly-produced, and all-around stellar anime I have ever seen. And, to top it all off, it goes beyond the typical fantasy high school tropes most shows fall into and instead shows the way people's lives are affected by the bizarre mushi. Basically, it's like a cross between The X-Files and House. It's fantastic.

  • A very interesting piece of anime that could appeal to anybody.
Mushi-shi details the travels of a man, Ginko, a silver haired and green eyed man, calling himself a mushi-shi.
In this anime, you learn what a Mushi-shi is, what they do, through the eyes of Ginko. Mushi-shi while having one ability other humans don't (they can see beings called Mushi, a Mushi-shi studies Mushis), are not superhuman. They are before anything human beings.
This is not a show in ...

  • A Breath of Fresh Air
Whoever tells you that a TV show needs action to be successful is a liar, and Mushi-Shi is proof of that. What this show lacks in testosterone-fueled fight scenes it makes up for in full with a captivating story and a truly beautiful style of animation. Many will say that Mushi-Shi is slow, and they will be right. But for a story as full-bodied as this one, a slow pace is exactly what the ...
