Funny and isightfull look at social dynamics and pyschology of adolescents
The character designs are great, and even though the characters themselves aren't novel or totally original, I think the interactions between them are full of insightful humor and subtle social subtext. I find the slow and again subtle romantic aspect of the show intriguing, however after thirteen episodes, it has developed too slowly with too many episodes of relationships backtracking. I also ...

    Refreshing, Fun, and Deep.
My Teen Romantic Comedy didn't sound like something I would like but a friend showed it to me and I loved. it. The main character in this anime "Hachiman" or "Hikki" is so refreshing with his anti social personality he knows exactly who he is and wants to be. I wait every week just to hear another one of his monologues about life that hit home for me every time. Even though no one should be as ...

    My Teen RomCom SNAFU Review
Hikigaya Hachiman is a loner who was forced into entering the Service Club by his teacher or else he would fail. There, he meets 2 girls- the beautiful and smart Yukinoshita Yukino and the happy and cheerful Yuigahama Yui. They don't seem to get along at 1st and like Hikigaya, Yukinoshita seems like another loner. Will this be the start of Hikigaya's Highschool RomCom?

    The 1st few episodes ...

    Something fresh and new.
Hachiman Hikigaya is one of my favorite male leads in an anime. He doesn't care what other people think about him, he enjoys being alone, he isn't intimated by females or confrontation. But at the same time he doesn't get into unnecessary arguments. He as a realistic (Somewhat pessimistic) outlook on life. His monologues are great and funny. I would recommend this anime simply on that character ...

    Really Interesting Take
I know there has only been 2 episodes and the manga only has 4 chapters out, but i still think i'm going to love this anime. The development is good, some things started to change already, it's funny and entertaining to watch. Overall i would recommend this anime for those of you who comedy or plain interesting anime. (I mean i don't like Drama anime, but i loved Death Note, and Maid Sama).

    Best anime I have seen!
Psssst: Season 3 has been confirmed!

When I first saw "My teen romantic comedy is wrong as I expected" (a real mouthful I know) I...I... I have never felt anything resonate this well with me before ever.

Hachiman, a cynical loner... Never identified this much with a main character in anything before ever. If you have ever been that lonely kid in class looking down on your ...

    Fresh, Biting and Brilliant!
What starts out as a simple slice of life slowly un-layers itself until the ending of the first season leaves it naked and bearing beautiful tattoos of raw emotion. Psychological states of mind are peeled back as character's struggle to grow into themselves and pass their pasts.

For the main trio, progress and promise mutate into relapse and regret, only for promise to show up once more and ...

    Decent romcom school drama
romcom slice of life high school drama shows are plentiful in anime, it seems like there is a couple every season. but not all of them are as detailed and intricate as Snafu. That is mostly due to the personality types of our main characters, and the dynamics within their group.

the mc is a standoff-ish high school guy who is the outsider type, because of his attitude. His teacher suggests ...

    Simply a work of art
One of my favorite anime out there, if not the number one for me, this is amazing. Not only are the characters well-fleshed out, but the dialogue in it is something that you cannot miss. It's deep, and often hidden under layers of other words, but extremely well-served. The author is phenomenal with his writing of this and the animators did an exceptional job; especially feel on season two. I ...
